    I disagree.

Pacquiao came at the tail end of Barrera and Morales career. *******s will debate it, but Barrera won his first world title in 1995.

Manny Pacquiao lost to a past his prime Morales, and then got revenge after Erik had already lost to Raheem. Come to your own conclusions.

I had Marquez winning both fights, and if we were all honest, either fight could have gone to either fighter. This shows they are even, in my book.

On talent alone Id rank them,

    Pacquiao
    Morales
    Barrera
    Marquez

Though I have to admit the gap between the fighters is probably thin.

    greatness:
    1. pac
    2. barrera
    3. morales
    4. marquez

though marquez has a big chance of topping barrera and morales if he unifies 135 (diaz and campbell).

I think even with those names on his resume. he doesn't top Morales and Barrera's resume. Marquez needs Pacquiao or a big name at 140.

could be. maybe equalled if not surpassed. we all know that jmm would be a favorite against either diaz or campbell but unifying at 135 right now would greatly boost his legacy aside from a pac or a hatton victory.

If Marquez wins a title at 140, that is a huge achievement.

    Horrible list.

It's just the fickle nature of ESB though, I spose. We all forget that Morales and Barrera have been at the top for so very long.

barrera was the featherweight king when pacman shocked the world in 2003. Pac haters can say all they want but barrera was no where near shot when pacman beat him the 1st time.

Morales still gave barrera a tough fight 5 months before beating pacman so dont make this excuses that morales was past his prime. He can still fight and he showed it against pacman the 1st time. that was on march 2005 the rematch was on jan 2006. Even in that fight morales did good until he got knockout in the 10th round.

I didn't say Barrera was shot. I said he was shop worn..which he was.

Morales lost to average Raheem before Pacquiao go to him. Morales was past his best also.

Overall point being,. Barrera and Morales both beat great prime fighters in each other. Pacquiao hasn't beaten any besides Marquez, in a fight I and many believe he lost.

Fine by me if you want to ignore head to head matchups. I saw a green around the ears Pacquiao decimate Barrera, and I saw a slightly past prime Morales beat an improved Pacquiao. I consider MAB and Morales virtually even, though I admit a slight bias toward Morales as a fan.

Pacquiao and Marquez have achieved much more in their stints at the higher weight classes, still have the chance to notch more impressive wins as active fighters, and bottom line, Pacquiao is the superior athlete and fighter.

Are Barrera and Morales still "at the top"? Marquez is and he's from their generation. Manny is #1 P4P. Barrera is about to be dogged to Amir Khan.

I just explained to you why those head to head matchups are overrated.

I think Barrera, Marquez, and Morales all beat the Oscar of that night at 147.

I think Pacquiao is the least skilled of all of them.

When Morales and Barrera were fighting one another and the best of the best, Marquez was losing to Norwood and beating the likes of Gainer. He only came to ascendancy since Pacquiao 1.

Erik is the best. Followed by JMM.
