Barrera, Marquez, JMM are overated skill wise. They could not even beat a 1 dimentional fighter in PAC. Oh except for morales. So best fighter would be in order

    PAC
    Morales
    JMM
    Barrera

    Sorry, what?

Perhaps, but the overall point was that the Oscar win for Pacquiao should be taken in context. Oscar was dead at the weight, we all saw it.

    I agree.

The overall point was, whereas Barrera and Morales were busting their asses fighting the best and being in a number of wars as early as late 90s early 2000s, Marquez had a clean sweep with second tier competition. Even his losses to Norwood didn't effect him because hardly any clean punches landed all night.

Morales and Barrera had significantly more miles on them when they reached their 30s, and the two were making more noise at World level than Marquez ever was during the early stages of their career.

C'mon PAC doesn't have any skill, and 1 dimentional. He should have lost to the 3 any time in their career.

That was his opinion. Anyways, do you think JMM would have beaten MAB the time Pac did?? because he sure gave him trouble when they fought a couple of years later. I dont think JMM could have.

What the hell are you talking about?

The reason Pac beat the crap out of MAB has to do with variance and versatility.
MAB does'nt use his right hand as equally as his left.
He relies heavily on his left hand....and Pacquiao was able to key in on that and shut the left hand out.

......JMM uses both of his hands equally, continually shooting his straight right over Pac's lefts, something that MAB was clueless or rather just plain unable to do.

The more versatile fighter here is JMM.......A TWO FISTED JMM over MAB by a longshot.

Best fighter of the 4???......and read people, the thread starter is asking who you think is the best fighter not who has the best resume, as some fighters are more fortunate in landing fights than others......

    I rank them......

JMM-the best combination of speed, quickness, power, skill, stamina, and TWO FISTED versatility.

Morales-Great boxer, very versatile all-around with his boxing and slugging.
Can use both his fists the left and the right equally well.
He falls behind JMM in quickness, speed, and stamina.

Pac-The most explosive of the four. Improved his skill through the Morales trilogy. Falls behind in skill level too all three, but makes up for alot of it with his quickness, speed, power.
Not the two fisted fighter that JMM and Morales are.

MAB-He's got a terrific jab, but his boxing skills overall are overrated imo.
MAB is'nt as veratile a boxer as JMM and Morales.
MAB's boxing basically consists of jabbing and turning or jabbing and lateralling.
You take away MAB's left hand as Pac did, and you basically have an average boxer.
MAB was a better banger than he was a boxer imo.
In any case, he falls behind the other three in overall ability IMO!

I might get grief from the MAB supporters, but thats honestly how I look at it!
