or the amount of unnatural bulk he was putting on.

 

i don't think jmm looked as slow as you seem to feel, sure with the added weight he did lose a little speed, but think about who he was fighting; the lightening quick mayweather. and considering the huge, yes huge disadvantages he had going against him in this fight he made a good showing of himself against one of the best all round boxers of our generation.

JMM is not very quick. IT was especially evident in the Barrera fight where Barrera was outboxing him with quick combinations at times. JMM is a technician who is stronger than his opponents and wears them down. In many fights he was losing early and getting stoppage late or gaining advantage later.
