Floyd might cut a lb and weigh in at 147.

Now if they fought at 140, Marquez and Floyd would have to cut those lbs, to end up weighing the same as if they fought at 147.

It's not like he's fighting let's say Cotto who weighs 160 on fight night but if he cut to 140 he would only weigh 155 instead.

Yeah its kinda strange, it was in the Corley fight the weight problems began, apparently they couldn't drop the weight on time so they had to dry him out on the last week before the fight, after the weigh in when he rehydrated he gained 20lb's.

a little food and water will cause your body to gain weight at high levels such as cotto
because it try to stabilise the state

this fight is a tune up just like how forbes was to dlh, forbes didn't dictate dlh to come down to 147:nut also cause dlh is having trouble making that weight also. dlh dictate the terms just like floyd should, after all he is the draw and he is the bigger star

 

I think hes been 159-161 for all his WW fights. Even his fight against Santos he didn't add much weight.
