:lol::lol:The clueless need the Emmanuel Steward's of the world to let them know that Marquez cant stop the hook......Steward had made his mind up in the first round that Marquez could'nt stop the hook, and that he'd lose the fight right there......

.....it took an analyst who's never boxed or trained to point out that Marquez actually landing the cleaner harder shots even early on, and that he was seeing what Emmanuel could'nt see......the gradual adjustments that JMM was making.......

Steward was so wrong in his analysis and prediction of JMM-Diaz, he conceded on the air that Kellerman had a legit reason to point to JMM as P4P the best in boxing.

The point?......dont take an analyst's words as the gospel, and watch the fight for yourself......Marquez was hit by some hooks by Diaz, but not at will as you would have assumed had you took Steward's word for it....
So many fans just repeat what they hear and not what they actually see.

The truth is that Juan Diaz threw so much volume, lost in the shuffle is that so much of it was neutralized or just plain just did'nt get in.

......keep watching JC.....you'll start to differentiate between effective and non-effective the more you keep your eyes and mind open and keep watching boxing matches.

Soon all the pieces will come together, and you'll see the big picture!:yep:bbb

Yes, we should listen to you, divac, as a bastion of objectivity over a world-class trainer like Steward.

Now this is only the first round, but you are totally oblivious if you think Diaz wasn't landing some serious shots here. And the pattern continued on for a few rounds, including where almost KD's marquez with a bomb of a left hook.

I see volume.....and of course with a fighter like JMM who is always at range to counter, he'll get hit with a few shots along the way......but where is this "at will" that you are talking about??????

Marquez does'nt run.....he stays in the pocket and counters you with harder, cleaner shots than you hit him.
.....thats the beauty of his performances.

I cant stand fighters who prance around the ring in an all out effort to avoid boxing exchanges.

A good boxer invites you in to throw punches, not avoid them altogether.

Before the fight, there were so many posters who's opinon was that Marquez would wilt under Diaz' workrate......that he would'nt be able to hold up to the pressure that Diaz brings......

.....let me tell you why JMM handled it. His shots were more effective than Diaz'. Landed cleaner and harder throughout the fight.

.....so get out of here with this crap that Diaz landed at will.
Diaz threw volume and landed some of course....but he did not land at will!:deal
