From Fat Dan:

I'm told @trboxing offer to Marquez to face #MannyPacquiao in the fall also has a rematch clause if JMM wins, guaranteeing him $10M + upside

err you dumb **** he would make 10 mill for 2 fights, basically 5 mil again in the rematch in case he wins.

if marquez wins against pac, he deserves way more than 5 mil for the rematch.

GBP still has rights on JMM. Would GBP be able to match this offer from Top Rank in order to keep JMM?

is it 10 million for the rematch or altogether 10 million for both fights?

If it 10 million if he rematches pac after the win then it a good offer.

5 mill / 10 mill .. where else is JMM gonna make that kind of money? He might as well accept it if he's really that eager to fight Pac again.

Without Golden Boy taking anything I would expect Marquez to walk away with 8-10 million.. He'd probably make only 2-3 million for a Zab Judah matchup. And even if Arum has an option on him, it would be for a rematch or a fight with Rios which would also bring good money. If he doesn't take it he'd be a fool and all his talk about Pac would have been been for nothing

He should take the 10 mil imo if thats true. Either way win or lose, he's still the king of the lightweight division. It's not like if he "loses" to Pacquiao "again" that his options will be slim. He has that as a safety net. And Judah will STILL be there for him afterwards.
