    The cut myth again.

Tell us how many times Ricky has been stopped due to a cut?... of course, none.

Tell us the last time he was cut...

Rick did used to cut a long, long time ago but he has since had surgery to file down the bones around his eyes and he hasn't even looked like cutting since.

Even when he was cut, he had the best cutman in the business in his corner so there was never a chance it was going to stop a fight.

Pacquiao struggled with Marquez because highly-skilled counter-punchers make everybody look bad. Marquez is arguably the best of the best today. He has looked more comfortable being more conservative, calculated sort of fighter at the higher weights.

no way will pac lose to hattons mauling style alone. pac is way to good for that. speed and lateral movement will give hatton headaches till he is no more.

marquez is not as strong as pac, so he will not ko hatton. he might outbox him but if marquez fought pac again crybaby will be toast. pac is more complete.

We use the quantifiable attribute "skill" as a means of judging this fight but I seem to recall Cotto boxing beautifully against Marg until Marg's pressure cut Cotto down. I fully expect Pac to win on points against Hatton but should Hatton win, we'll probably see a "best yet" Hatton who will mow Pac down and chop him up. It's certainly possible, if unlikely.

yeah i think if hatton wins, he'll look great and very dominant doing it, with pac not being able to handle the strength and power inside.

But I believe that Manny will counter out Hatton like Floyd did.

I think thats a bit of a stretch. I dont think Pac is more complete than Marquez, as a matter of fact I dont think many are as complete as marquez. Is Pac stronger and more dynamic yes but more complete? I fail to see a compelling arguement for that. If you have one I'm all ears.

moving up in weight pac has had to concentrate more on his boxing because he is fighting bigger men. featherweights he thought he could just blow them away. he is more disciplined and has shown that he can execute a gameplen, reason why i think he is more complete and ko marquez.

IMO, JMM is the more complete fighter compared against Pac. It's just that his "completeness" as a fighter is not enough to defeat Pac.:good

Another numpty that hasn't seen Hatton fight. Poor footwork? comes in straight lines :patsch Oh dear... Hatton has very good footwork and is the best in the business at cutting off the ring.

JMM is too small and doesn't hit hard eough to trouble Hatton... Hatton would maul him

co-sign, Hatton has never been as good as JMM, and frankly he never will be, not to mention that Hattons style compliments Pacman's attributes very well, i'd be shocked if Hatton wasn't a bloody mess, and more shocked if Hatton went the distance with Pacman
