at WW. marquez looks to have sorted out his preperation. vs katsidis he wasnt the bloated shell that stepped upto floyd, but he was the sharp accurate ATG combination puncher that gave pac hell for 22 out of 24 rounds.

so yes i see this as a marketable fight, and one that will enhance legacy.

Exactly. Even if Pac loses to Mosley he'll likely look far more impressive than he would beating Marquez because Marquez will give him constant problems. They don't want Pac looking vulnerable, and if JMM were to beat him or make it a close fight all the excuses about Pac being a 1 dimensional fighter in the first 2 fights (damn near 4 years apart) would fly out the window. They can't have further proof out there that Pac needs come forward brawlers to make him look Godlike to the fans.

The only reason Pac beats JMM is age.

Pac is still prime at 31/32, JMM is past prime and will be nearer 38 than 37 if the fight happens.

We saw what happens when both close to prime, JMM wins but its given to Pac.

uhhhh i remember many were HIGHLY touting the NEW AND IMPROVED pac coming into the 2nd fight..and he arguably lost that fight (i had jmm up by one when all was said and done).
