This fight makes the most sense for Pac. If he fights anyone else it will just be bs. I guess he could fight berto but who really cares about that one? Fight JMM.

LOL in the second fight everyone and the commentators before it started were like PACQUIAO has a right hand now so this fight should be so different from the one 4 years ago... and PAC is not the young one dimensional fighter he once was.

Now 3 years later, again with the right hand

oh and he is not one dimensional "again" like 4 years ago... lol a whole new monster..

People blame Mayweather from for running from Pac. But here is a man chasing Pac, calling him out every day. I don't think its about money with Marquez either, I think he genuinely believes he can beat Pac. Its not the best business move out there, but its the one with the 2nd most pride attached.

I don't know why people are arguing over this!

How can anyone belittle Marquez's achievements against Pac? He gave him absolute hell for two full fights. Both fights were action packed and full of drama.

Everyone on here that states **** like "a Sub-prime Pac destroyed Marquez", or comment on how Marquez was on his back 4 times should be ashamed to call themselves boxing fans. They were two fantastic fights and if a third was half as good as either of the first two I would happily watch it.

And those who don't think Marquez deserves a third fight?? Don't be crazy, of course he does, by my books he won the first and lost the second. A third is required to settle this once and for all.

For what it's worth I think Pac is hitting harder than ever now and would stop Marquez late on in a competitive fight. Either way, I'm sure it would be very competitive early which is a hell of a lot more entertaining than watching Pac destroy all his opponents!

But that's what makes both fights so awesome! Despite hitting the dirt hard on several occasions, he fought back hard and on many people's cards he won the fights!

Think of the skills, speed, power and determination that were on display from both men! Great, great fights.

Pac did really improve in the second fight, Pacquiao have won more rounds compare to the first fight. Pacquiao's counter right hook has also improve. Before that right hook did not stun or KO people, but recently that right hook by Pacquiao is a Killer, it KD Hatton and Cotto, it stunned Margarito (he was hurt by it). Pacquiao's has better balance, throws better combinations nowadays. If you will look at Pacquiao fight against Larios and Velasquez(both are not as good compare to Cotto and Hatton) Pacquiao's combination and the way he fights Velasquez and Hatton is not as impressive compare today.

Pacquiao will annihilate Marquez today, thought I want to see this fight, rather than the Mosley fight just to shut up, those who wants to see this fight.

But I prefer Berto than JMM or Mosley.

The same can be said about Mosley. Also, Shane already had his chance with Floyd not too long ago and Mosley lost by a wide margin. At least JMM made it a war with Pac in each of their two fights. Pac is likely to demolish any fighter at 147 or below not named Floyd. Might as well put a fighter who is most deserving in there with the Filipino. I don't see why anyone would downgrade Marquez. Pac has said several times in the past that Floyd is AFRAID to fight him yet nobody gives Pac hell for it. It's just lightweight trash-talk to build hype and/or give off the notion that a fighter is passionate about fighting. Nothing negative about that.

Marquez probably won't fare nearly as well this time, as it's becoming more and more evident that he's in his late 30's.

Why do people keep bringing stuff like this up? Even JMM fans acknowledge that he would be an underdog against Pac but at least Marquez has shown he can still fight at a high level by stopping an improved Katsidis. What has Mosley done in recent times but lost and come away with a draw? He hasn't won a match in nearly two years!

Give Marquez a chance. Shane can fight a gatekeeper (maybe Berto). If both Shane and Pacquiao win, then they can talk about fighting each other. The key is to work up the latter. Mosley doesn't deserve a big fight YET.
