it's not the recent events that forced jmm not to want cortez for any of his fights. jmm and his team doesn't want cortez since way before the pac rematch. the first fight i think have something to do with it. apparently team pac also didn't want cortez for the rematch too so they both got bayless. i hope pac gets cortez for his hatton match. :D

I agree with everyone with the exception of Nady...I've seen him call some horrible fights.

Aye he was a complete disgrace in that fight and then done the opposite and allowed Hopkins to hold all fight against Calzaghe, he was a factor in Hatton being stopped.

With a fair ref it would have gone the distance with PBF winning of course.

mmm....looks like other people aside from Brits have noticed his heavy favouring towards Amercian boxers.Any non-American will now probably reject him outright given the choice.I certainly wouldn't want him refing if I was fighting an American, don't know how he got away with it for so long.

The gripe that I have with Cortez in the Hatton-Mayweather fight isn't that he stopped Hattons natural punch and clinch style, thats fair enough, but that he didn't try to curtail Mayweathers use of the elbow whenever the fighters were in close.
