I'm sure he knows that when u leave the cards to the judges decisions can go either way especially in very close fights. If he can't go for the kill then don't whine about getting robbed. In the first place no robbery was made, Its just a very close fight.
What was the debut loss like. I have his career set minus his mexico fights (first 10ish) and commentators keep saying it was because of aheadbutt. Was it a fair decision?
thats what kills it for me. marquez would be more apreciated as a great champ if he wasn't a damn sore loser. close fights lead to close decisions, dont complain when a fight is decided by a point. some judges prefer accuracy, some judges prefer aggressors like pac who pushes opponents back.
barrera vs marquez decision was as controversial as pac marquez, in fact i had barrera winning, but you dont hear barrera complain every f### second.
cause barrera got his revenge and also, barrera has gotten some gifts too :good marquez earned his way up dodging bullets and not really being a fan favorite fighter until later in his career...
Actually Crybaby Barrera is the biggest sore loser out of the three.. Don't forget about the time he sucker punched Mckenney and Morales and ran away.. ANd when things weren't going his way against PAc, he started commiting some pathetic fouls. That's a sore loser.. haha and marquez started hurting him with combinations, he got all bitter and hit marquez while down. Yup he's a sore loser.
The worst part about his statement is the fact that he created a TOTAL FABRICATION in saying "In general, the press said I won them" Quite convenient and unfounded bull****, isn't it? There's no question the press correctly says the Pac fight was close and the press "in general" accepts this. Maybe he read an article somewhere in MEXICO that said he won, but....... Dip****.
I'm not surprised he said this. I'm sure in his mind he won all the fights he lost. I never saw the Norwood fight, but the Pac and John losses I thought he won. He didn't dominate though so I wouldn't say they were outright robberies but I thought they were both clear wins for Marquez.
Marquez clearly and i mean clearly beat Norwood.. He also beat John convincingly. Yup and he outpointed Pac in both fights. JOBBED!!!!!!!!!
I didnt see his 1st fight but according to BoxRec he was DQ'd due to Heatbutting, I don't think I saw the Norwood fight. The John fight I agree was a robbery as I had Marquez ahead on points and the Pacquiao fight was not a robbery.
Well, I would say the John and the second Pac fights were no robberies (I scored the John fight in favour of John but the Pac fight in favour of Marquez), could have gone either way. I haven't seen the Norwood fight, but the first Pac fight... well, for me that was a clear win for JMM. Anyway, out of his 4 defeats 1 or 2 are at least correct. Perhaps his record like 51-0-3 would be the most appropriate
When exactly did he say this? because from what I heard in his 1st fight he knocked the guy down in the 1st round and then walked over and kicked the ******* when he was down and got DQed. If that's the case then how could that have been a robbery? Where the hell did you get this supposed quote by Marquez?
