If it weren't for the first JMM fight, Pac wouldn't be as good as he is today. Marquez boxed Pac's ears off. If it wasn't for incompitent judging, JMM would have won the first fight. Pac actually got better after that fight because he actually tried to box more and not rely on his power all the time. The second fight could have gone either way. I had Marquez winning, but it wasn't a robbery. Economics always plays a part in boxing. Who benefits from a win more? There is only one great Pinoy boxer, versus a slew of Mexican fighters. You gotta ride that cash cow.
:gooddef agree. very different styles and like the mab/morales trilogy these guys are just too evenly matched and there's a possibility a 3rd match may not determine a clearcut winner, but we won't know until it happens
im also pinoy. why not try to post at our Tambayan at Lounge? meet other pinoys that post here in esb.
I dont think pac got schooled. This was 2 great warriors giving all they have in the ring. Calling it a schooling is an overated assesment of JMMs performance. His defense was exposed in that fight. It so happened that pac is no 1 punch KO artist and JMM is lucky for that. Never did JMM won a round as decisive as pac had.
yeah i know he got kd, but that was it, skill wise marquez schools him.. marquez showed him to box, but still 2 different styles, jmm is the reason why pac studied to box,
