JMM should be no 3 p4p.

The way people discard a fighter after a loss is disgusting, and people wonder why boxers avoid taking on tough challenges. One loss and all of a sudden you are washed up and a bum and overrated. Look what they did to Chad Dawson. Look what they did Marquez after his loss to Mayweather. And you are doing the same with Paul Williams.

 

He won vs Cintron (Not officially)
Very close competitive fight vs PWill first fight.
Beat Pavlik, Much bigger guy, and a big puncher.
Then KO's PWill, who is one of the toughest boxers out there.
Until then, PWill was never really hurt bad.

 

Williams was one of the most ducked fighters for years. He lost because he felt like he needed to impress and was pressing way to hard for a KO so he could get a piece of the Manny sweepstakes. That is fine but you can walk in on Martinez with your hands low and throw long punches when you are that close to a southpaw that throws well with both hands. Horrible game plan.

 

It's also the way he fights that will put him so hight on the P4P list. Is there a more fun boxer to watch these days ?

 

And Juan Diaz is a world beater?

 

Martinez has definitely had a much better year, in terms of competition and how he has actually looked in those performances.

But who knows, he could do some crazy **** and spark Katsidis early. We'll see.

Williams = Overrated bum who has had problems with southpaws when he was a WW.
Juan Diaz = damaged goods, spanked by Paulie M twice.

Juan Diaz is amazing. Extra-ordinary. He didn't really lose to Paulie Maliganggi, he was just trying to bait Marquez into a second fight...and then he broke his arm in five different places in the very first round which allowed Marquez to get the decision.
