I have a feeling JMM is going to spoil the party. Do not underestimate this guy. Pacman made it look easy beating down PBF's previous opponents (ODLH & Hatton) but can't get a decisive win againts JMM. I like to see the Pacman vs PBF rather than JMM vs Pacman III.
If Marquez (somehow) beat Mayweather jr..........then what? Pacquiao vs. Marquez for the THRID time? Pacquiao will KO Marquez this time, he's a much better boxer now, and will be stronger at 140. Pacquiao vs. Mayweather is the only fight that makes sense. I hope Marquez ain't a party spoiler.
marquez won't beat pbf. even if he did, pac's a beast at 140, which is where the third fight would take place. i don't think marquez would fair as well the third time around against pac. he would be too strong, too fast, too mobile for marquez. at this point, pac/pbf is the best fight out there. i can't wait to see it. :happy
I don't think JMM will beat Floyd - but I'd be delighted if he did. Marquez-Pacquiao III is the fight I'd most like to see. Pacquiao is carrying the extra weight better than JMM but I find it hard to believe he'll ever have an easy time of it with him. I think Pac could score that elusive decisive victory in a third fight but it certainly won't be easy.
I'd rather see Marquez beat Floyd so Pac and Marquez can settle this trilogy. However Marquez doesn't carry the weight as well as Pac he seems to have lost a step. Which is why Floyd wants the fight he noticed at 135 Marquez defense wasn't as good and his foot movement was a bit slower so he figures at 10 pounds higher he'll have that much more of an advantage.
If it turns out to be a close decision, I still think the PBF vs PAC will happen before a Marquez vs PBF II or PAC vs JMM III. Just like Zab losing before going againts PBF or Morales losing before the PAC fight.
