Maidanas chin isnt the greatest or body. He will get back up thats for sure but to say Maidana will be eating punches all night is way way out there.

Maidana will KO or TKO JMM, even Nacho does not want JMM to fight above 135.

Man open your eyes, even Nacho does not want JMM to fight above 135. Maidana will KO or TKO JMM. If JMM thinks he is effective above 135 he should be fighting at that weight by now, cause it will give him more prestige and potentialy more money, but the truth is he is still fighting at 135.

This will be no different from JMM-Diaz, or JMM-Katsidis..

    JMM late TKO.

    FOTY candidate too.

He said no to Khan. Not no to 140. Get your facts straight and i agree. Khan is a terrible match up for JMM. He is very fast along with being very tall and big reach.

Maidana is not faster than JMM, He is not that much taller and also his defense is not very good along with a so so chin.

He will throw very wild punches and a guy like JMM feeds on that.

But the thing is if Nacho thinks JMM is effective above 135, he should be fighting at 140 by now, where JMM will get more money, and prestige, but the fact remains he still fighting at 135.

Maidana is just too strong for JMM. It's not hard to imagine , Katsidiz hurt JMM, Maidana will do even more. Katsidiz also landed many punches on JMM.

Maidana won't have too much trouble finding Marquez from the outset, who unlike Khan is very flat footed. I don't think Marquez can hurt him at all, so his clean counterpunching will be ineffective here if it doesn't go the distance, which I don't think it will. It all points to Maidana overwhelming him and stopping him around the mid rounds imo.

I just don't see maidana knocking marquez out cold, and if he can't do that, marquez outclasses him from a technical standpoint, in addition to landing enough powershots to get the unanimous decision.

Katsidiz landed many punches on JMM, Maidana can land many punches on JMM too, and Maidana has more power and better chin.

I can see the ref stopping the fight after a barrage of unanswered punchers by Maidana.

styles make fights. maidana isn't as relentless when pressuring boxers like katsidis happes to be. maidana wouldn't just come square in bombs away like katsidis. he knows that would be his downfall. remember, he's more of an awkward boxer-puncher who brawls when behind, and opting to box with juan manuel marquez, unless you're floyd mayweather with a full weight class advantage, you're losing.

But like what I told before, if Nacho or JMM thinks he can compete above 135, he should be fighting at 140 by now( where JMM will get more prestige and money) and not at 135. And if he win fights at 140, the clamor for Pacquiao vs JMM will get a little bit of boost.

I mean, okay? he had business to attend to at lightweight with katsidis. he still wants to fight the best fighter in the world, for a third time, so I don't think you can question whether he's fearful of fighting the best above 135, so why did you say that? He very may well fight above 135 in his very next fight. he's a warrior.

JMM could side step his defense with Katsidis and fight above 135, but he did not. I am not telling he is fearful, I just think JMM's team knows that JMM is not effective above 135.
