IMO if it does happen, I think it would be a massive let down, a chess match, similar to Mayweather v De La Hoya. Both defensive fighters and I just can't see where there action is gonna come from. I could be wrong, but I would just prefer Mayweather to fight someone like Margarito or Cotto. What do you guys think?
I think there will be action. JMM has been much more aggressive lately, although I'm sure he'll be more tentative against Mayweather because of his skills. That being said, Mayweather has to know that considering his advantages, he'll be expected to put JMM away in impressive fashion to make the money fights later that much more lucrative. I expect him to possibly stand and trade with the smaller man. But if Mayweather has lost something over the last year or so, this fight could get very interesting. JMM may be smaller and significantly older, but he is not a pushover...he is a master counterpuncher and could have Floyd paying for the things he's lost while retired.
I think itta be an exciting fight...mayweather will mix it up as jmm is smaller and floyd wont be hesitant about gettin caught like he would if he was fighting a full sized ww!
Marquez is a much more aggressive fighter later in his career so this fight might surprise some. His chances of winning might not be that great but Marquez is guaranteed to give you a hell of a fight at least.
Intersting fight. If Marquez were bigger, I would pick him to win, but at 147 it will be an up hill battle.
