I think JMM should consider this fight, he will counter punch him all night.

i would rather see jmm vs devon or timbo than against khan. however i didnt see last nights fight but devon would beat marquez, especially if yoiu consider that jmm is getting older

JMM beats Devon easily. Marquez is too smart for him.

Not sold on JMM against faster 140lbs'ers just yet. I think he loses to Khan, Timbo and Devon but beats Maidana and Kotelnik.

Still, a pretty intriguing matchup considering how bad Devon looked yesterday. Still, this was one of the off- nights at the office for the young 'un. I'd bet money on Devon to beat JMM.

Interesting. I just thought about this matchup. JMM is one of my two favourite fighters so I may be biased but I strongly feel this is his best shot at a title. Kahn would be to tall and elusive, Bradley has too good of a stamina.

Here you have a strong-chinned, experienced fighter who has faced and tamed worse punchers than Devon (you know who). He will take Devon's power. Even though his defense is his main deficiency, Devon tends to get very predictable with his jabs and one-twos. Even though he will get hit a lot more cleanly than Kotelnik and are susceptible to the left, I see him take the shots in the beginning, adapt (Like with Diaz') and apply the same pressure. I think they're about the same size with the same reach.

So I say this; if Dinamita can get past that jab and get in position to lands his own shots... He will simply have too much offensive skill. He will carve Alexander up with his exquisite arsenal (the best in the game IMO). DA has so much wholes in his defense that Marquez will find many of them. For example, why keep that right hand that low if you're straight as a stick (in this fight too, Devon's trainer complained about that)? You're not Mayweather or even Dawson.

I see JMM countering that jab with left hooks. And the lead right that Kotelnik was so succesful with yesterday is JMM:s best punch. The question is whether his stamina could hold up? The Diaz' fights were fought at a high pace so perhaps. His chin certainly will. If he can manage to get past Devon's jab - he will have a field day.

Close fight where Devon would outwork him in some rounds, but with reservations for Devon's continual improvement and Marquez' continual decline, I still say Dinamita late TKO. His power is better than Kotelnik's as well as his variety and punching power. And he won't be afraid of Devon's power - if you throw full-blooded combinations at elite fighters like Barrera, Pac and Floyd whilst putting on counter-pressure, Devon won't scare him.

    Make this fight happen!

JMM by KO. Marquez lands all his left hooks and jabs like kotelnik and alexander doesn't survive period.

JMM, DA doesn't have the length or anything else to trouble him.

If DA comes out like he did against kotelnik then Marquez would probably get the KO in the late rounds.

Wow i never tought about this fight, but thinking in that, could be a good option to Marquez to win his 4 world title in diferent weight class
