It really can go either way, and we don't know yet what JMM will be like at 135, but I'll say Casa struggles more with a guy who has faster hands than him, has an advantage from a technical point of view, and will be more active throughout, than JMM will struggle with Casa's size, southpaw stance, and craft. Also, JMM's seems to have a lot more left than Casa does, I personally feel he wants this more. I'll take Pacquiao in a 3rd fight with JMM though, I think the weight will be better for him more than it will JMM, who also is fading out of his prime right now.
I agree...I think that Casa is way too big and too awkward for Marquez. Marquez cant box against Casa...he will get outboxed and outhustled, nor can he brawl, because Casa will knock him out then. I see Marquez trying to follow Casamayor around the ring until getting too close and then flashed with a left hand. Im picking Casa by KO mid-rounds
How you put two counter punchers together who will be the agressor probably Marquez this will play into Casa strategy I think he carries more power and better chin than JM.
Assuming JMM carries the extra weight well, which shouldn't be hard since it's only 5 pounds, I expect a JMM UD like everyone else. Lightweight is about to explode so whoever wins has another great fight lined up against the winner of Guzman vs. Campbell. Also depending on how the fight between Katsidis and Juan Diaz turns out they could be right back in the mix.
Casa has an appalling workrate these days. So much so, that a crude fighter like Katsidis easily outworked him. If JMM carries the weight well and can handle Casa's power, then I don't see Casa winning this, really. JMM by comfortable UD. Unless Casa uses his "veteran" skills...
