If setanta only had the budget to get either the JMM vs Diaz fight or a contract to show the olympic trio for the next two years what would you choose?

JMM vs Diaz could be one of the fights of the year contenders.

Although the olympic trio could provide about 10 shows in 2 years which amounts to 30 fights, (excluding other fights that could be on the same bill) however the vast majority of the fights will be journeymen brought in for a payday, yet it shows an insight into 3 of best British talents from the olympics.

    :huh

Why though? your getting a lot more boxing for your money and could provide some exciting fights, while the JMM vs Diaz fight could not be that great (highly unlikely) and could end within a few rounds.

are you nuts???to say a juan diaz fight could not be that great means you probably havent seen him fight before, the guy is non stop action

and fighting jmm number 2 p4p come on man, this fight is gonna be good, the chances of it ending soon are quiet low also,

btw the olympians wouldnt provide more boxing for your money have you not seen the undercard to jmm diaz

    JMM vs Diaz anyway.

Three Olympians fighting bums in four round affairs for the next two years doesn't interest me.

For starters, until they fight six rounds I won't be interested in the slightest, even then the guys have to be fighting opponents with winning records. Why we feel the need to go to 15-0 with bums/questionable journeymen is beyond me.....

    Five bums
    Five journeymen
    Five domestic gatekeepers
    British title
    Two/three defences + US/Germany undercard
    European title
Two/three defences + further undercard experience
    World title
    Two defences
    Unification
    P4P matches

If the Americans can do it, why can't we?

im saying this from an irish point of view if there was an option of seeing 3 of our olympians in the pro ranks on the same night it would be different

however i would still watch diaz jmm 100 times out of 100

Thats why I said it is highly unlikely. :good

I have seen the undercard, highly rated Chris John finally fighting out of his comfort zone and in America against the capable, but limited Juarez.

Short term its the Diaz vs JMM fight.

The long term is the olympians.

BTW i choose the Diaz vs JMM fight.

    Definately JMM-Diaz.

Watching the Olympians beat up bums in their first fights is not interesting in the slightest. Even if it means more boxing long term.

The JMM fight vs Diaz is 'one' GREAT fight i'm sure but i'd like to see the olympians on there (Slow) learning curves to hopefully the top.
For every **** few fights there will be an entertaining one i mean Tyson Furys second bout was entertaining even if he was fighting a v tough punchbag.
Quantity maybe not quality all the time for two years for me,ill just watch JMM win on youtube

There are no Americans that go 15-0 with 'questionable journeymen'?

Anthony Peterson's 15th fight was a six rounder against someone with a 6-7-1 record, for example...

surley this is obvious. id rather see the JMM vs Diaz card over one Olympians card, but, over 2 years worth of fights, no chance i would rather have the olympians.

fact is actually one of the olympians shows will cost more to setanta than JMM vs Diaz card, so its a silly question.

they will be on terrestrial, BBC i reckon.
