Great fight to cap-off these two great's careers:think

Of course Morales has to get by Alfaro first!

  5. Eh from the promo pics coming down Morales looks like he's been training in the bar and not in the gym.

Was thinking of this just before i saw the thread title, ideally they would be evenly matched, i wouldn't want se a 1 sided beating either way, they both have already peaked but have enough left for 1 last hurrah.

JMM would destroy him (Now). It should be Marco Antonio Barrera Vs Erik Morales. The last fight of the two. What an epic way it would be to cap it off.

Even though they're both past-prime(Morales might be shot we'll see) this would close the chapter on the four horsemen of our generation(MAB, JMM, Pac and Morales)..........Great way to end this boxing chapter!

I'd like to see both these warriors go out on a win, so no I'd hate to see these two go to war at this stage of their careers.

In their prime it would have been an amazing fight.

I'm a huge fan of both guys and actually wouldn't mind them fighting each other to end their careers. It'd be a nice paycheck for both guys and a good fight for the fans.

... I just hope Morales still has enough left in him to make a good 2 or 3-fight comeback.

Yeah sometimes a long layoff does a fighter good, I just hated seeing him on the canvas looking at his corner after Pac 3. He is so much better than that and I'd not enjoy seeing that again.

Agreed! Although Barrera would win at this stage this would be a much more competitive fight.

He looked really weight drained in that fight. Not that it would have made a difference.

If Morales looks good vs Alvaro then maybe but if he looks like shot **** then why give Marquez his name on his record just for the hell of it ?
