C'mon man, stop with the nonsense. Marquez was absolutely dominated by Mayweather. Say what you want about the 2 lbs., but Mayweather's speed, height, and length caused Marquez a lot of problems. Mayweather is just a bad matchup for Marquez. 130 is arguably Mayweather's best weight class. The same can't be said for Marquez. Any weight from 130 on up and Marquez gets dominated.

It'd be the same result no matter which weight class they fight in.

It would be a closer fight if Marquez was at his natural weight or was on steroids like Mayweather was (or like Marquez himself was for his last few fights). He wasn't even a proper lightweight when he fought Mayweather.

I'm talking about the weigh in. Unless my math is off, the last time I checked 146 - 144 = 2.

What was his weight on fight night ? I stil don't think any version of JMM beats Floyd but it was more than 2 lbs

Again, I'm talking about the weigh in. Mayweather was 2 lbs. over for the weigh in. I'm not sure why you're response is that they were more than 2 lbs. a part on fight night. Those are two entirely different things. More than likely, there was about a 6-8 lb. difference between the two on fight night. No one knows for sure though as Mayweather declined to dislclose his fight night weight.

PBF is a stylistic nightmare for JMM and would beat any version of him. There's a reason why JMM fought Pac 4 times but declined a rematch with PBF despite the fact he would be getting a career high payday and a shot at redemption.:deal JMM knows PBF is a horrible match up for him.

Mayweather destroys him even worse than he did at 147. Literally pummels the hell out of him to a clear UD win. This is a terrible style for Marquez who openly admitted that Mayweather's style is simply wrong for him.

The fight night weight was never reported so who knows if it was 6-8 lbs

I don't know. I believe Marquez's weight was disclosed as something like 144. Considering we typically never Mayweather rehydrate more than 5 lbs. or so, then it's a pretty good bet that he was somewhere in the low 150's. Regardless, it really doesn't matter anyway in regards to a matchup between the two at 130 lbs.
