Good points! :good I think the height and size would be a puzzel for PAC early on but I see NO problems getting on the inside and scoring to the body or head of Funeka with the speed and foowork PAC is known for. If Funeka was fast and if he had a GREAT jab that he doubled and trippled up on then I'd see more of a problem for PAC....But Funeka is slow enough for PAC to counter and his Jab is a bit lazy at time for PAC to have success with his famous striaght Left that gave JMM so many problems in their first fight.

I'm not sure "IF" Funeka would have any worries with PAC, but if he's a smart fighter and looking to progress professionally he'll have to be cautious and respect the talent and natural gifts that have made PAC the #1 P4P fighter in the sport today. If he doesn't worry he'll be walked through by PAC b/c of his over confidenice and being ill-prepared for a tough challenge. The verdict is still out on whether or not Funeka can take a punch from a sharp and powerful puncher like PAC.....PAC's win over Diaz was more of a boxing exhibition than PAC really sitting down on his shots like we've seen in the past...He was on his toes the entire fight and showcasing his boxing skills so I'm sure the power is still there without much doubt.

Man...if Funeka has that kind of Chin that eating right or left hand from PAC would feel like a insect bite then we have ourselves a true freak of nature. MW's who spar with PAC using 14oz gloves and head gear have said they've FELT and went down from flush shots...so Funeka has to be something un-real to say the least. I'd like to see this myself in order to believe it. Please forgive me if I have my doubts about that one. Raheem was on unsteady legs from the initial KD and really never got his legs back under him until the fight was halted in there with Funeka so I doubt with PAC's speed and reflexes that he'd have a problem avoiding most of Funeka's offense..especially the left hook which is easier to see and avoid.

The lateral movement was coming from Raheem...Funeka was reacting to the lateral movement which he did well but Funeka plods forward for the most part and has little lateral and head movement. If Funeka was in there with PAC or a JMM he'd be eaten up by Counters for sure.

I'd be surprised if Funeka beat JMM let along PAC. His physical demensions are his biggest attributes but has many flaws both Defensively and offesnivley that guys like Juan and Manny would expose....If his Chin is as good as you say then it could make for a long exciting night but I'd still see a onesided boxing preformance by JMM and PAC who have proven to be able to compete at the sports highest levels. I do agree with your Nate Campbell vs Funeka conclusion!

I would like to see more Faneka fights.

I think he beats Pac and JMM. 6-2 against 5-5 midgets plus he's got some power in those shots.

Funeka seems he can give the other contenders at 135 fits.

Here is hoping he can fight in US and show his ware.

It appears that way but all his KO's are against bums and Raheem the only good fighter on his resume has a below average chin.

If his "murderous" punching power could only drop Fana once then he sucks.

Because everytime I seen his hit cleanly which isn't offen he's been hurt. Fretias hurt him and should have been credited for at least 1 KD. Juarez dropped him and had him hurt about 3 different times. ANd Morales hit him once the whole fight and he was vlearly hurt bothered by it. And I'm a huge Raheem fan and called him to beat Morales but his chin isn't the best.

Larios is Larios and JMM is JMM. Fana is a bum that was knocked silly with 1 punch by Barerra at 130 and Barerra wasn't known from being a big puncher at 122.

i see your point man and a loss does not mean you are not top class, i mean look at pac man
but i can not see him getting past marquez with that performance against raheem,
juan is ALOT more ring intelligence/ experiance, plus if you make a mistake or have a phew flaws he will punish you hard, his couter punching ability along with his accuracy is deadly, even if he is not one of the biggest punchers at lightweight he can still beatdown the big guys

plus maruez is a test bonafide warrior dude, he has been in some tough fights where he has been in trouble beyond belief and still come out of it winning or as close as

funake has not been tested on that level
