Its a pick'em type fight imo. I've always said its difficult for me to fully guage Duran's greatness as a lightweight because I did'nt live that era and cant guave accurately the skill level of his opposition. From 1980 to present, I've got a good feel for the fighters of the era and know each's caliber. I like Chavez' uncanny ability to find crevices to the body, and I think stamina wise, Chavez could withstand more. For those reasons, I lean toward Chavez. Duran had other attributes Chavez did'nt to be sure, like holding and hitting on the inside. Purely skillwise however, I'll take Chavez!
Duran may be a little quicker and better on the outside with his jab, but on the inside, imo Chavez has no equal!
oh puleez you fall for his "guys guys i really hate pac and floyd, really i do!" act? look through his posts the mother****er was a rabid floyd cocksucker and was for some reason ashamed to admit it.
JMM doesn't get embarassed, but starts taking a serious asswhooping in the championship rounds. He survives and finishes on his feet though.
I doubt JMM would box him, so the fight would be on the inside. Chavez would dismantle JMM on the inside. Because Juan has so much heart, I'd say JCC by mid to late KO.
