I think he's pretty much assuming that Marquez is going to beat Alvarado. Marquez should win that fight. If he does, I don't see any other viable option for Pacquiao.

^Everyone is a more viable option at this point.

But come on, when boxing puts on cards as interesting as UFC's top ones, THEN you can call the brass dumbasses.

What other viable option could they get for Pacquiao? There's only so many Top Rank fighters out there from 140-147

Thing is, there isnt really any options left for him.

The vast majority of the top guys at 140/147 are with Golden boy

I don't know anything about Golden Boy or whatever. I couldn't give a **** about behind the scenes politics. All I know is that, even though I'd personally want to see the JMM 5 fight, no one would care about it.

It's because they are putting on more cards.

172 is an interesting enough main card.
171 was an AWESOME main card.
    170 was okay.
169 had two title fights, making it awesome.

For the most part, the PPVs are always big and have at least three awesome and big fights on it.

    pac-pedjr

    pac-jmm (pac-alvarado, but less likely)
    pac-ruslan(possibly at 140)

pac-drainelo(possibly at 150 which im not sure drainelo can make).

    in that order.

unless pac gets pedjr next, there is no point fighitng drainelo other than pure monetary reason.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. I've bought every Pac card outside of Rios since 2008 or so.

But im not paying for a FIFTH fight. That rivalry is stale as **** now. We saw how it ended. Move on.

You are trying to convince the wrong person because I can see through your hype. You wouldn't win your argument and examples on a mma board let alone on a boxing one. I'll give you 171, which was awesome but 170 was far from ok...c'mon son.

Yeah what a stale ass way to end it. :patsch
I get it though, if you hate Pac or if you are a loyal Marquez fan (unlikely) then you wouldn't want to see #5. The rest of the world does want to see it.

Yeah looking at it again, 170 was pretty shocking.

Then again, things would have been MUCH different with Evans and Cormier (lmfao, a woman called Marie Cummings just came on TV, how ironic).

Pyle and Waldberger was the one that made it so bad, if you give an allowance to Cormier/Cummings. I guess Thompson and Whittacker wasn't great but I'm a fan of both so I was happy with it.

Actually now that you mention it, 173 and 174 only have 2 main card worthy fights on them too.
