    Memo :

Anyone that Mayweather fights is the greatest before the fight and washed up after the fight.

    Agenda :

Anyone that wins against past-Mayweather fighters will never get credit.

If Juan Diaz can trouble JMM, Hatton surely would have some success. If Marquez can deal with Hatton's body attack - which I suspect he can - he TKOs him late.

This would have been a great matchup back before Hatton got his chin cracked.

The Hatton that stopped Tszyu vs the current Marquez would have been a hell of a fight.
Marquez just has too much skill however, I think even then it would have ended by late tko or UD for Marquez.

Had they fought after Hatton's KO loss to Pacquiao as was being proposed by GBP, Marquez would have dismantled Hatton and stopped him before the late rounds arrived in a non-competitve fight.

    Glad Hatton decided to retire.

It's a toss up. If marquez beat hatton it would have been the best name on his resume.

140 is not JMM's ideal weight at all. Hatton only lost at jr welter, to uber Manny and that was past his best Hatton. Certainly not the Hatton that Kosta Tszyu.

Ricky had a good jab and had faster footwork than marquez.... Juan diaz is no puncher and he was beating marquez.... Bare in mind hatton puts on a lot after the weigh in and he's a couple of levels above diaz.... Hatton by decision

Hatton is better than Katsidis. Not as lopsided as poll indicates.

I believe so........people really dont think and really analyze the strenghths and weaknesses of the fighters.
To say that because Juan Diaz and Kats had their moments Hatton beats Marquez?:rofl:lol::nut
.....Marquez has just proven you dont take his performance and the way he went about fighting Diaz and Kats, and assume that he'll go about fighting a better fighter the same way.

Marquez used less lateral movement against Diaz and Kats, because he could get away with fighting them that way.
You people have to take into consideration that Marquez was trying to land the 3rd Pac fight and to do that he had to fight in a fan friendly style to make the fans want to see him again, and at the same time bait Pacquiao in his team of clowns into thinking "that old man cant move around the ring any longer.

Certainly Marquez would know Hatton would outweigh him in the ring and would plan to fight Hatton using more movement and angles as he did against Pacquiao.
