Bull****. So just because he lost to a bigger, younger and one of the most highly skilled boxers in the world JMM is overrated. Get lost.

The reason I'm so confident is because I remember seeing how the changed over the last 1 1/2 weeks. It went from Marquez hasnt got a chance to he's too much of a warrior for Floyd.

Flip to today and there is a thread saying how not only was he too small but now he's overrated as a fighter.

In the run up to this fight Floyd was saying that whenever he beats an opponent people claim they were never that good in the first place. I think we can agree this thread is exactly the kind of stuff he is talking about.

    Oh that happens....without a doubt.

I even convinced myself it could be real competitive at one point..but my final pick was Floyd to win wide on the cards.

He overrated himself thinking he can do a Pac sliding from weight to another. That's biggest price he paid for his stupidity.

One of the biggest paydays of his career, though, for JMM.

And it was a big, dangerous gamble, but what if, because of some boxing miracle, he defeated PBF?

    Big gamble = big returns

Well, one can just calm down and look at it in simple terms.

Juan Manuel is 36 years old, a career featherweight, had 50+ fights, has some questionable nutritional therapies and is shorter. With those disadvantages, One simply can NOT cope with floyd, who didn't even care to make a fair fight by meeting the agreed weight.

That "Number One/Numero Uno show" that people paid for was like a very badly written movie that depended solely on casting so people would buy. It did nothing for boxing except make some easy money for the organizers involved. Fight fans lose, Money May wins.

A great big man always beats a great small man. The smaller man to overcome the size would have to be twice as good. I thought Marquez could still at this stage move up effectively and maintain his speed, power, and mobility he had at 126-130. Everyone could see he was slowed at 135 but I felt with a very good and long camp they could focus on certain areas. Mayweather just proved too much at too high a weight.

JMM has king kong balls. He couldn't hang with the best pure boxer in the game at the moment, for a number of factors, but he's not overrated in the slightest.

I think the DLH fight was a viable fight. Mayweather didn't fight Judah pre baldomir. He fought him after he lost to baldomir, and he managed to get knocked down by the second rate Judah. Maybe that's why he only fights little guys now.

Berto is terrible. I bought Saturday's card, but if he fights Berto I will not buy it. I'm done buying his fights until he fights a real opponent. Personally, I'd like to see him against Mosely, but any of the top welterweights would be good.

I don't think Pac can beat him. I think mayweather will outbox pac, but the speed will likely bother him a bit.

You kind of ruined your own post. After he beat Judah he beat both Baldo and Oscar. Two guys who are both bigger than him.

He should thank Pac for inspiring him to step up and fight the big fights. I give him credit for courage. He's like Don Quijote fighting the windmills singing the Imposible Dream in the The Man From La Mancha.

I would open a thread on how unlike Floyd Mayweather Pernell Whitaker had the audacity to fight the fighters he was supposed to fight, but why should I? Everyone knows Floyd is a cherry picking *****.
