Mayweather outweighed Marquez by 15 lbs by Marquez's own estimations. It really was a lightweight vs a welterweight. He had no chance. Pac weighs less in his fights than many JWWs, and there will only a few lbs between them come fight night. The Khan fight had more to do with the physical advantages Khan would have over him, he's a lot bigger and combine that with his foot and hand speed it's a tough matchup. Marquez and Pac are the same size and Marquez already has shown he has the style to pose Pacquiao problems. If he can handle Pacquiao's strength it should be as competitive as their first two fights.

You mean to get a chance of winning JMM needs a drained Pac? Rather than the two elite fighters fighting at their best form?

Pac can make 140 no problem, but they dragged JMM way out his 135 weight class where he is less effective as seen vs Floyd.

What has KHAN done to be in the same Ring as the GREAT JUAN MANUEL? Old Barrera, Paulie LMAO MCCOOLESKY? hehe

The glass jawed over rated amateur pot shot fighter that runs? Hehe that was good.

    But yeah!

Khan has done ****.. in his best win he pot shotted his way and ran like a little girl all while his feet were going Jiggly and he patted his fists trying to be like the great PAC.... Nah Juan Manuel has better fish to try and fry.

    PAC>........................ Khan/Paulie/Broner LMAO

Bro styles make fights. Pacquiao can't avoid punches like Mayweather and that's what Marquez main problem was. . . LANDING PUNCHES. Even Shane was using the backfoot and counter-punching. What great fighter do you think he learned that from? Marquez will capitalize on every mistake Pacquiao makes. Marquez has a bigger chance vs Pacquiao than De La Hoya, Margarito and Mosley put together. You are crazy to think Marquez won't put on a great fight vs Pacquiao

Let's be honest no one gives a **** outside the UK about a possible Khan vs JMM fight maybe a few do I dunno... maybe a few.

Now compare that to the money, attention and meaning a possible third fight between Pacquiao vs JMM even Stevie Wonder can see which fight makes the most sense for Marquez.

Khan needs to grow some "Ring" pubes first before he can be mentioned w/a fighter like a JMM.
(JMM/Pacquiao are grown folks, Who have EARNED their pay)

I agree to what you said. One more likely scenario is JMM doing a Mosley from round 1. Its currently the best way to get rich easily and safely.

Of course he takes the Pacquiao fight. 135lbs is not even Marquez's best weight, never mind 140lbs, etc. He was offered the Khan fight just after Mayweather had defeated him, and his trainer was having none of it...it was clear that Team Khan wanted to take advantage of the situation and use Marquez as a stepping stone at that point. Good on him that he didn't take that fight at that particular time.

Reasons why the Pacquiao fight is better than the Khan bout.

    Marquez has previous with Pacquiao.
Marquez gains more money for a far bigger risk.
Marquez is not being used as a stepping stone.
Pacquiao is the greater challenge, including greater reward.
    Similar in height, etc.
Marquez is not being used as a stepping stone.

JMM is a warrior, he ain't scared of nobody, he is mexican ffs. He will give everything he's got against the mexicutionner.
He will counterpunch pac in combination while stepping on pac's right side.

So why not? Marquez can end his career with a big bang and get enough cash to retire in his newly bought hacienda and drink pee nacolada next to the swimming pool.

He has an itch to scratch. JMM will give Pacquiao problems. He knows how to disrupt Manny's rhythm; his technique is effective at any weight. I think its crazy that they choose to meet Marquez at 144 though... Manny was 145 against Shane. Why couldn't they do 142? Nevertheless, what has changed between the last fight and this fight however is JMM got older, and Manny got stronger. For what its worth, that will be the difference in the fight.

Khans a nobody. Nobody even knows who he is in the US. Everyone knows pac and will be paid triple or more than he would get against Khan. And Khans people would probably break into his hotel room to steal contracts, dirty underwear and urine.
