*******s have said for years that they'll weight the same regardless. But the weights here signify why we have weight divisions. 4 lbs is significant. Thats four additional lbs of lean mass for Pacquiao. Pacquiao could'nt bully Marquez in fight 3 so he's decided to bulk up and take it to the smaller Marquez. We'll see what transpires come tommorow night, but definitely, Pacquiao is at a weight advantage here. He'll be physically stronger than he was a year ago!
thats bs. marquez looks like the stronger 1. its his fault he wanted to come in smaller. he said it is for speed. dont u pay attention to boxing?
They are both in the 147 limit. If JMM felt it would be a huge disadvantage he could have tried to negotiate a catch weight but probably wouldn't have succeeded. JMM didn't look smaller. But these fighters know each other by now and JMM should have a solid game plan that he thinks he can use.
As others have said depends on the fight night weight. Pac at welter doesn't weigh much more then weigh ins. According to the numbers JMM put on a good amout over night for the third fight. So they should come in close. Unless JMM is relying on speed and wants to be lighter
everyone made a big deal about 158 for jcc jr againsts sergio. much to do about nothing. paq couldve lost two pounds by taking a **** and then nobody wold be saying anything. the best man is going to win tommorow and it will have nothing to do about the weight
Dunno Vlade, Marquez look plenty big and cut to me (how da **** he does this while being 39 is anyone's guess...or that dude Angel's)....upperbody to Marquez, lower body to Pac. Seriously, that extra 4lbs is in Pac's calves.
