    That is incorrect. Sometimes it's easier to counter a fighter who only throws one punch at a time. Floyd's pull-counter over a jab is one of his most effective counters.

    Yes, I noticed Pacquiao threw 3 punches. The reason why he was countered was because his offense is sloppy and JMM is a master technician.

    Reach doesnt care how big you are....

    if you have catlike reflexes at your current weight... weight doesnt matter. Floyd will sharp shoot pac!

    Exactly.

    Fighting someone your size who you have no stylistic advantage over is more impressive than making a big man come down in weight whom has no advantage over you other than his size... which he's sacrificing to get the fight made in the first place.

    This is why JMM outboxed Pacquiao in a war, while the "bigger" DLH was drained and was no offensive threat in any form.

    Mayweather was even faster at 130, JM Marquez would have been completely overwhelmed to an even further degree.

    Worst. Poster. Ever.

    So you're saying that Oscar De La Hoya and JMM have the exact same boxing style, it was just weight that made Oscar unable to deal with Pac?

    I guess Pac secretly convinced Oscar to come in light and eat deer meat as well.

    I also hear that Pac was responsible for the global economic crisis, helps finances Al-Qaeda and has a sinister plot to take over the world.

    No, quite the opposite.

    JM Marquez, even if he's smaller, was able to outbox Pacquiao simply because stylistically he has the advantage. Marquez adjusted to Pacquiao's straight left, but Pacquiao was not able to adjust to the straight right of JM Marquez. However, Pacquiao's left is stronger which is why the few times he hit JM Marquez flush he put him down.

    Oscar, who was supposedly bigger, had to drain down in weight and had no advantage over Pacquiao stylistically. His right hand, according to Roach, is useless and the right hand is the weapon Pacquiao has no defense against. By draining down in weight, Oscar gave up the only advantage he had which was his size. That is why Pacquiao went life and death with JM Marquez, and easily defeated the drained and stylistically disadvantaged DLH.

    I explain this in further detail in my thread here. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=171643

    ****ing owned. :lol::rofl:D

    lucky punch. :silly:silly:silly against an off balanced JM Marquez.

    did you ever see the fight you ****ing idiot.

    thread closed. post a clip of that and lets see if jmm was off balanced.

    lucky punch? it was a master counter from pac.

    jmm was going to throw a right left combo. as soon as jmm threw the right, pac threw a counter left which sent jmm to the canvas.

    in fact. when the pac punch connected, jmm was in the process of throwing his left which was blocked by the high guard of pac.

    lucky punch. :lol::rofl:D hang yourself.

    Pacquiao has more power because he's the bigger man.

    The knockdown against JM Marquez was partially because of his poor stance.

    Have fun laughing in solitude about something that's not even in topic to the thread.

    Your anger reveals your frustration.

    you don't know the rats ass what you are talking about.

    lucky punch. off balance? now pac is the bigger man? how can it be off topic considering the thread title states JMM counterpunching effective against pac.

    Yes, Pacquiao was 145 in the ring compared to 141 for JM Marquez, according to HBO's tale of the tape. Pacquiao also had an age and reach advantage over the smaller Marquez.

    The topic is that JM Marquez easily counter-punched Pacquiao, but wasn't able to against Money Mayweather.

    I have forgotten more about Boxing than you'll ever know. You're out of your league.
