I love it ,"The old I don't have nothing credible to come back with so Ill use the big picture insult response" you could have just said your mama it would have produced the same effect, instead this stupid clown pic

This is coming from the forms jackass .. if you think 2 pound made the difference marquez winning that fight, then your the idiot .. even if floyd made it to 144 the results would have been the same.

I'm still impressed that Manny took that last left hook from JMM and stayed on his feet.

weight has nothing to do with it ... it didn't make Marquez any slower than he actually is and it didn't make Floyd any stronger than he actually is.

no matter what weight class these two fought at it was going to be the same scenario ... Floyd by UD ... its a huge seperation in skills and class. Thats what won Floyd the fight, not his size ...

Its weird to hear all these people talk about the weight like Floyd bullied or man handled Marquez ... 95% of the fight was in the middle of the ring ... and a majority of Marquez' shots were wide ...

When he fought Pacquiao, speed was the deciding factor in both fights ... Marquez was slow to get off and ... the punches that won Pacquiao the fight, Marquez didn't see and couldn't defend.

Manny didn't outbox Marquez like Floyd did, he pretty much overwhelmed him with speed and punch volume.

floyd punishes pac....freddie knows that pac cannot box and only comes forward with the right hand to try to set up the left...floyd sparks pac for 12 rounds easily...even at 130 or 135 jmm wouldve got the beating he recieved last week vs floyd....

**** that jmm called out the welterweight champion so he shoud fight at the welter limit...like floyd said last night...'i wanted to come in comfortable at my weight which is welter...catch weights suck balls and cotto needs to come in at 147 to starch pac...he comes in at 145 its curtains for cotto within 6

I think that JMM got what he asked for and there shouldn't be anyone making excuses for him ... he's rated among the best p4p and if he truely wants to prove and test himself then what better way to do it than go up.

No one is criticizing Cotto for taking his fight with Pacquiao ... and I hope that Cotto takes a page from Mayweather and comes in at 147 ... I don't care ... its not like Pacquiao is going to turn away from that large payday and he'll make a couple extra dollars in the process.

Whats so different between him and other lightweights that have moved up to fight a welterweight?

Hell Vinnie Pazienza started off as a ****in lightweight and fought Roy Jones at Light Heavyweight

James Toney and Chris Byrd were both middleweights who were campaigning at HW ... the weight makes no difference, if you have the ability, you should win regardless of what disadvantage you have in size.

    ***

Back to the subject at hand, Floyd is a better technically sound boxer than anyone in this era of boxing ... and probably in the history of boxing.

    He always fights his fight
He never fights the same way each fight
    He always boxes first
Shows good discipline, never getting baited into a slugfest or a brawl
    Always is in good shape
    Always practicing
Always focused on one task at a time ...

There's nothing to convince me otherwise ... he's a multi dimensional boxer ... and thats something that Marquez, Pacquiao, Cotto, Mosley, or any other top fighter can say for themselves ... and even if they showed signs ... they never were as consistant as Mayweather.

Yes he can, and if you knew anything about boxing. You would know Jose Luis Castillo was suspended for coming into a fight heavier than Diego Corrales. Last time I check Pacquiao is the draw in this fight. He doesn't need Cotto, Cotto needs him. Cottos not a draw like Mayweather or Pacquiao he can't walk away from the money. Plus he'll get suspended and it will cost him more money.

Floyd outweighed by 6 pounds. Thats the difference, you just showed how little you know about boxing with that question.

Vinnie Pazienza and Roy Jones Jr. both weighed 168 for that fight. Roy didn't weigh 6 pounds more. Oh and the fight was at SuperMiddleweight not LHW.

James Toney and Chris Byrd are lucky the heavyweight division is as weak at is. Chris Byrd is probably the only one from them that fought a 1st class heavyweight in Wladimar Klitschko. And we all know what happened to him twice against Klitschko.

Who has Toney beaten at HW anyway? A past it Holyfield, a useless John Ruiz who can't beat anybody. He even got outboxed by Rahaman in their first fight. Rahman had to injure himself to give Toney a win in the second.

Whats more troubling in the video is look how Pac is leaning and reaching forward before Marquez countered. All Marquez did was take one step back and Pac was off balance and reaching. Both hands are reaching without any defense. If and when he faces Floyd he better correct that because Pac is suspect to all kinds of punches leaving himself open like that.:bbb

No disrespect to Pac fans it is too obvious.

Thats just the point.....there is a reason why the fight was signed at a catchweight, and thats because Marquez and his team knew they were at a huge disadvantage climbing two weight classes.

If you saw the interview that was given of Nacho Beristain right before the fight, he could'nt mask his dissapointment and displeasure that Mayweather did'nt even care to make the weight.

.....the words of Nacho Beristain, "Juan was already at a huge disadvantage, but this just makes it much worse."

Thats just ridiculous......Mayweather signs to weight 144 lbs, and he just decides to take it upon himself and dishonor the aggreement by coming in at a weight thats more comfortable to him.:lol::lol:

.....of course the Welterweight limit is more comfortable to him......why do you think the JMM team negotiated to have the fight take place at 144 lbs.

.....if weight did'nt make a difference, why was the fight contracted for 144 lbs to begin with!

......if weight does'nt make a difference, maybe we can have a Mayweather-Williams fight after all......
.....it can be contracted at a catchweight of 150 lbs, and Williams can just say "the hell with that, I'm coming in at the weight thats more comfortable to me.....Williams can then officially weight between 154 and 160 lbs for the official weighin.....

......something tells me the Mayweather fanboys would have something to say and would not agree with that!:deal:yep

    Three points:
    1. Nacho should not have allowed Marquez to fight Mayweather when the latter violated the contract;
    2. Weight matters. Cotto therefore should weigh in at 145 or no fight.
    3. There should be no excuses when one accepted the fight and the penalty money despite the violation.
