**** those gifs are frightening...mayweather is as sharp as ever. i think pac has a chance based on his form against hatton but he will have to utilize the hell out of movement and angles otherwise, he's gonna get picked off BRUTALLY

JMM is better than Pac, but neither belong in the same ring as Mayweather.

marquez is a technical fighter, whose style does not translate as he moves up. it relies solely on technique and skill, which is great when you are approximately the same size and physical talent. against mayweather, he was matched technically (actually surpassed) and completely overwhelmed physically (not just the size but the speed and reflexes)

Pac man is a physical fighter, relying on his speed, power and natural talents to get him the win. Over the years he's included and introduced technical prowess that ACCENTS his abilities; he and Roach were very selective in what they added knowing that he is essentially a fighter not a boxer but needed to improve his skills. Pac man's success doesn't rely soley on technical process but more on his speed, power and physicality which have remained remarkably since he has moved up.

Marquez needs superior technique and level physicality to win. Pac relies on superior speed, power and combination punching to get the job done. Pac's advantages in speed will translate as he moves up, his punching will continue to be spectacular, and his power at least remains.

And he will continue to get in tough fights with counter punchers in which he dont really face. Get the **** through your heads. Marquez kicked Pacs ass most of the rounds just b/c he is a great counter puncher. 80% of the good shots he landed were counters with Pac lunging and swinging wildly like he did in the gif leaving his chin in the air. What the flying **** do you think Floyd will do when he is a stronger faster more accurate counter puncher than Marquez. Pacman only has a punchers chance and he will get tossed up facing Floyd. The end.

    I agree! :good

Pacquiao has a punchers chance against other welters, but not with Floyd.

Pacquiao's reach is too short. He will rarely land a punch on Floyd, and any punches that he will land will be rolled. If Pacquiao can't hurt you, he can't win the fight.

Pacquiao will be countered, jabbed to death, and ultimately outclassed in a one-sided domination.

i agree with most of what you said. my post is basically to say that due to his style, pac has more of a chance than marquez. pac has some speed and power than can at least trouble welters, even mayweather. marquez does not, nor did he have ANY techincal advantage. pac will lose but he will win rounds and will make him uncomfortable at times (ala judah)

It doesn't take an expert to see that JMM and Pac are no match for PBF.
