If you remember JMM is The Ring Champion, WBA "Super Champ" and WBO Champ at Lightweight.

He has not signed to fight either Katsidis (The WBO "Interim Champ") or Paulus Moses (The WBA "Regular Champ").

So has he vacated any of his titles yet?

There is talk of him fighting everyone from Amir Khan to Ricky Hatton, has he signed to fight yet?

Anyone know what's going on with him?

Personally....I'd rather see him fight Anthony or Lamont Peterson or even Timothy Bradley.

He's likely going to take a Khan fight or a fight with Katsidis so it's possible he can hold onto one of his belts.

That's how it's looking to me too.

I personally would rather see Marquez/Hatton, it would be a good do or die match.

i will forgive marquez of any fight he takes,i hope for him he takes a big money fight maybe 2 even and then to go his way...so khan and hatton ,exciting and has a good chance of winning, thats what i think...whoever said lamont or bradley its nuts, low reward high risk..no way!

JMM is rated top 10 p4p at the moment but if he's campaining at 140+ where even Khan is favoured against him, that rank should drop.

Personally I'd like to see JMM vs Hatton.

I don't like JMM being a stepping stone for guys like Valero or Khan. Both Hatton and JMM have something to prove.

JMM vs. Hatton or JMM vs. Cotto is a good fight. Name big enough for all the trouble.

However, I have been saying for sometime that JMM really slowed down significantly. The fact that he struggled against Juan Diaz is not exactly about styles problem. The last thing to actually diminish is power, but the first one to go is speed., stamina.

at 36 going 37, regardless whether he had been in many wars or not does not change the fact that the body ages.
