John Steward had the 1st fight 115-110 for JMM, Jerry Roth had the second fight 115-112 for JMM.

How many rounds is that for Pac? You do the math. :deal

but back to the ts' topic.
i think jmm's hype has tracked his resume. ie. when he was fighting non-elite opposition, he wasn't seen in the same light as say mab and em (deservedly), but when he stepped up his level of competition and did well, then the hype surrounding him deservedly went up.

also wanted to add, i don't think the boxing press overhype him - i think most of them correctly have pac as current p4p no1. but jmm does have a following of very rabid fans with a superiority complex who constantly and incorrectly whine "jmm #1" and "jmm was robbed after dominating pac twice". i think that's where this perception of his hype being better than his resume comes from.

Reputation has a lot of something to do with media! Media can make or break the image of somebody!

Now, IF YOU CAN'T EVEN SPEAK OF REALLLY DECENT HONEST TO GOODNEST RESUME what do you do?! You hype whatever is there to talk about.

CASA - you can make it appear and say that CASA never went down in his career! Sure! But DID you REALIZE that JMM's win over CASA is when Casa is already over the hill. He fought him in the latter part of the boxers career! Yeah! A win is a win but winning over a 37 boxer will not give you any credit at all!

Do you think PAC will get credit if PAC ko's Casa in 3 rounds?!

For JMM's win over CASA it's called GREAT PERFORMANCE by their very own # 1&2 fan DIVAC and ULIULI !

For PAC FIGHTING and KNOCKING OUT CASA... it will be called

    CHERRY PICKING!!!!!
    :lol::rofl:rofl:hi:

at least jmm didn't take the easy way to a title at lightweight like pacquiao. let's see, marquez fought and ko'd casamayor and juan diaz who had never been ko'd while pacquiao fought the great david diaz who was the weakest paper champion in the last ten years.

jmm has never ducked anyone unlike pacquiao who was called out by joan guzman four years ago and pacquiao never responded to that call out. when juan diaz was lightweight champ he twice called out pacquiao but pacquiao kept his mouth shut.

and what's this about jmm fighting and decisioning barrera? didn't pacquiao do the same after marquez had already beat him? and talking about overrated accomplishments, first, pacquiao got an absolute gift vs. jmm II, beat up on the "great" david diaz, beat up on a semi-dead de la hoya and yes, i will give pacquiao credit for his great win vs. ricky hatton.

oh and by the way, isn't marquez fighting mayweather jr. at 147 after fighting his last fight at 135, while pacquiao is the catchweight queen of boxing?

marquez would have beaten david diaz, a weight drained de la hoya and ricky hatton so what's the big deal of pacquiao doing it? marquez may have gotten screwed by the judges vs. pacquiao but the boxing world knows very well who won that fight that's why pacquiao fans attack marquez whenever they can because they cannot accept the fact that truly knowledgeable boxing fans know marquez beat their boy.

    DUDE,

PLS SHARE ME YOUR GRASS! Are you saying JMM has better RESUME than PAC?!:lol::rofl

Are you honest to goodness proud of JMM's win over CASA! Like I said if PAC was the one who beat CASA he'll be called CHERRY PICKER and you call that achievment. BEATING at 37 Yr old boxer is something to cheer!

When PAC beat MAB at 30 years old JMM fans was quick to say.. Yeah! PAC beat another old boxer at 30! But on the same tune! You are EXTREEEEMLY proud of JMM's beating of 37 Yr old CASA

I suggest you consult with the JMM # 1 fan DIVAC is he could HONESTLY say JMM has a better resume than PAC! :hi:

Up to know JMM fans has PRACTICALLY nothing to really boast of as far as resume is concerned that is why their is an enless:|:|:|:|:|:| and as always talks about his fight with pac :D

NO MATTER WHAT JMM does, PAC is still standing UP while JMM's ass hit the floor 4X's already!

Yup! When they meet again it would not be surprising if JMM's ass hits the canvas again!

I'm sure JMM fans wouldn't be surprised anymore will you?!:lol::lol:

Doesnt say much for Pac when this is the toughest challenge Pac has fought since maybe the first MAB fight.
Maybe Pac has fought bigger names than JMM but no one better in the ring than JMM since the first MAB fight.
Why am i even posting in this thread? the stupidity is incredible.

  15. There's really very little hype surrounding this man. His performances inside the ring have created what little hype he has. Unfortunatley, he was the victim of poor managing for the better part of his career. We're not talking Amir Khan or David Haye here.
