JMM is bitter to the very end. 2-1-1 forever.

Never could compare to Pacquiao, Morales or Barrera. Clearly behind them in the legacy department and that bothers him to his core.

Do we know for sure that Marquez himself orchestrated this? For all we know one of his buddies made this, put it in front of him and snapped a picture.

 

As epic of a KO as that was, it speaks to his legacy. One that lives on not just one fight, but one punch (let's not forget he was en route to the worst beating of his career before that punch).

His career is otherwise tainted with embarrassing losses. Dropped three times in first round against PAC? Shut out by Mayweather? Heck, he even lost his first professional fight!

As others have said, he is not held in the same regard as his Mexican contemporaries Barrera or Morales are, nor is he considered anywhere near the icons as Pacquiao or Mayweather. He's just not on any of their levels.

He was a great fighter, but clearly he can only hold on to that one punch. If he truly thought he was the better fighter, he would have went for a career high payday and made the fifth fight. He knew he was getting busted up and pulled off the Hail Mary. Some say perfect ending, I say he didn't want any more of that. Not even gonna get into steroids, because he was clearly on them, but I believe PAC and Mayweather were also both on them at some points of their careers.

With that said, funny cake.

This is seriously the most classless **** I have ever seen in boxing. These guys fought 4 classic fights and instead of showing respect and appreciation for the man who basically made his career he mocks him.

Manny got 4 chances to fight Manny wins once and took his ball and went home. I hate people like that in everyday life much less pee drinking steroid users.

Now I see why all the Pac panties are bunched up today. Marquez was my favorite fighter for years. Thanks for all the great fights, Champ. You make all Chilangos proud!
