The fight is billed as the WBC LWW final eliminator. It is tentatively set for the 9th of October and will probably take place in Romania, although Ajose's team wants it in London.

Having seen both sides of Ajose, he is a very good boxer but this doesn't show very often and recently he has been very wild and work-rate, combined with the ineptitude of his opponents has got him the win (he didnt really look like knocking out Nigel Wright last time out).

Haven't seen much of Dan at all, only highlights really. His best win comes over a fairly shot former WBA lightweight champ in Raul Balbi, who Dan KO'ed in the 3rd round. His physical attributes may cause a problem for Ajose. Dan is 5ft 11 almost 6 ft compared to Ajose who is 5'8 and I believe dan has a considerable reach advantage aswell.

This fight depends on which Ajose turns up, but I reckon Dan will outpoint Ajose wherever the bout is fought. Not too wide a UD, but convincing enough to win on foreign soil (not Canada or Romania).

It would be good if anyone could educate me about 'Jo Jo' Dan more. Maybe someone who has seen him live or who is a fan from Montreal/Canada/Romania. Cheers.

    Who you got?

Guy has heart. Not much power. Some skills too. Never expected to much from him...How's that Olusegun?

Olusegun is an enigma, highly skilled when he wants to be but never really shows it. He is normally wild and would be exposed on his average night by any good contender/fringe of world class boxer-puncher.

Does that description apply to JoJo Dan? From media reports it does.

Dan is good. He throws a lot of punches.. lacks but just a bit in terms of power but he'll get you out of there if you trade too much with him. Nice hand speed, pretty solide balance and fundamentals. Lefty. He needed work on his defence. Should prove an handful for any jr welter other than the elite.

    And he's quite big for a 140er.
