Would be a tidy stouch but it won't happen ( certainly won't happen in the open air of Eden park ) no duco won't want anything g happening to their cash cow they certainly won't be too keen on sending his up top to get knocked out . Good luck to Lucas Browne early next month .

love this kid. would love to see him and his team do a war haka in the ring when he fights.
i think it should be held in england, not for the lame reasons being thrown around, but because the title they are after is currently owned by a brit.

so watch your say is the if the event was in NZ, that it be staged at around 10 o'clock in the morning on Sunday for prime time saturday night in England?, that would sell out a football stadium in NZ and do massive number in the UK. It is pie in the sky stuff. If Parker wants the fight with AJ, He needs to go to England. There is just way more Money.

Exactly. Why would the bigger draw willingly give up home advantage to fight his opponent half way around the world? It simply wouldn't make any sense. If Parker wants the fight he's going to have to make concessions as he has no leverage at the moment.

Joshua made $4.35 million USD (€3,9 million) for his fight against Whyte.

It is safe to say that it makes him the #3 or #4 best paid heavyweight per fight, behind Wladimir Klitschko (€20 million +), Tyson Fury ($5-7mil) and possibly Povetkin (undisclosed, but rumored between $2.5-5mil).

I was basing my purse figure on the article below. I'd assume Hearn knows how much he is paying his fighter. Either way whether it be $4.35 million or $5.6 million it's clear that Joshua is one of the bigger draws in the division right now. I expect many more fighters in the future to call him out looking for a payday.

What are you talking about Parker has the higher ranking? Joshua outranks him in the WBC, IBF & WBO.

Parker is #1 in WBO... the only person higher is Fury, that's the leverage he offered in the call out

Never watched the video so didn't hear that bit but have since heard Parker has been elevated to number 1 spot by WBO, my bad.

Joshua's looked tired against Wythe... Then add his body built to that - Not a distance runner if you ask me.
