I can't see how anyone could have Simms winning this fight. He did absolutly nothing for 12 rounds.

    Bravo Alcine. Tu le mérites!!!

No excuses, I hurt my hand.

No excuses, i hurt my hand in the early rounds and couldnt recover.

No excuses, I hurt my left hand.

How many more times is Simms going to say he has no excuses, then immediatly say he hurt his hand?

I didn't give Simms a single round. I don't give rounds to guys who are there to survive and grab. HOLDING IS A FOUL!!! What is wrong with referees today is they allow way to much holding, which ruins the sport. It was not a fan friendly fight, and the fault was Simms' and the referee. Fastest way to stop holding is to keep taking points off. If it doesn't stop, dq 'em. It's for the good of the sport. If Simms wants to hold and grab, let him join mma. As for me, I like a guy who fights all the time and knows how to fight and defend on the inside. Ortega did a marginal job at best. Thank the lord the decision went to Alcine because I don't ever want to see Simms again.

We don't have that many world champions in Canada. We're allowed to be happy. ;)

Alcine clearly won this fight. I scored it 8-4. Simms wasn't doing anything but holding for much of the fight. I don't know what fight Al Bernstein was watching, as he had Simms winning like the 1st 5 or 6 rounds.
Alcine wasn't great himself, but he consistently outworked Simms, and overall landed the cleaner shots.
