If Joan Guzman were to stop boxing today, would he be considered a Hall of Famer?

I don't think he should be. The best fighter he has beaten is Humberto Soto. So, hell no in fact!

no. nut until he beats a big name. well let's just hope jmm-guzman happens. if guzman wins this match, and then another big one, then he'll be HOF.

He had 2 or 3 great seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays but I don't think that's enough to get you into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Yes. Juan Guzman. I assume that's who we're talking about, right? I mean, there's no way somebody could be asking if that Joan Guzman boxer guy actually belongs in the HOF, could they? Not the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota? Maybe like his local High School's HOF. That's acceptable.

But seriously. This guy's good but he's got A LOT of work ahead of him before he warrants ANY sort of HOF consideration.

If Joan Guzman got attacked by a couple of grizzly bears and somehow didn't manage to survive, he would have more of a right to be in the IBHOF than a number of fighters already in there. So, yes. There are much less accomplished/skilled fighters in the hall of fame than Guzman.

This thread belongs into the hall of shame, while you're at it why not wonder whether Pavlik deserves to be in right now.
