Guzman needs to move to WW because all he would do is make a mockery of the JWW limit anyway.

Aside for hm being an ******* for coming in heavy, I think he has a very chance on beating Maidana. He is nothing special exept for his power. A good boxer will beat him. Everyone seems to want to slug with him and that is his game. To be honest, I think Guzman, Khan, and Paulie could beat him by points. Cayo was awkward and all, but Maidana is not too far behind. If Ortiz would have kept to a game plan of just boxing instead of brawling, he would have had a better chance of winning. No hate, but I just don't see anything special about Maidana's style of fighting.

JOan's disrespect 4 weight limits have gone way overboard. Two times is ludicrous, and, by 9 pounds????????????? This fu***r needs to be suspended 4 a while or send him to fight in teh WWE.... we don't need this kind of **** in boxing anymore!

Guzman will get wasted by Maidana, he would also get wasted by Funeka if he had to make the weight, and also, he would lose to Funeka at 140 or 47 if he had to make the weight.

Guzman barely got past Barrios at 130, Maidana will find him.

We just saw Guz barely beat a 135 pounder when he had a 9 pound weight advantage - two divisions.

Vs Maidana they will make him pay huge fines to come in over now. He will be
four pounds smaller than he was vs Funeka (for the weigh in) and fighting a guy 5 pounds bigger.

Weight advantage is the main reason Guzman beat Funeka. Go ahead and believe its his mad skills if you want but you are going to lose money on him when he fights Maidana.

This would be a lopsided blowout. Guzman isn't getting caught with any bombs and he'd abuse Maidana for 12 rounds. Simply too much in his arsenal.

Both China Hand Joe and Amsterdam should be ashamed of themselves now.

For far too long, they have taken the cudgel for this guy, but now, there is no doubt you have already surpassed them as Guzman's ultimate backer here in ESB.

Look I said I wasn't proud of what happened at the scales, but it's hard not to drool over how he looked on Saturday. His strongest performance in years, it was a flashback to what he's about. It was as close to vintage Guzman as can be expected at 33. Alexander and Pacquiao are the only guys that could potentially hang with him at 140. And no, I didn't forget Bradley.
