this guy imo is ready for any fighter from featherweight all the way upto welterweight.
he is so damn skilful, he doesnt get hit and has that aura of supreme confidence ala floyd mayweather. I reckon he beats the khans and marquez's with ease. the only guy he struggles with are mayweather n pacman.

    looks like hes training properly

its a shame he wasnt exposed to the wider public sooner.

If Guzman is so good like you say then let's have him face the much faster, skilled and powerful El Ciclón Gamboa, then we shall see just how good he is. :yep

gamboa's good, quick feet, fast reflexes etc...but guzman has more skill and experience.

Guzman is a elite let down.

Dude has talent, but is so inconsistent (in the Guzman that shows up in the ring, or the weight) it took away all the interest I had in him at one time.

Love the guy, but he still looks like(and is) just on the verge of not making weight, even though he is already fighting at least one weight class above where he should be.

If he gets a fight with top competition, he will just stink it up because he is still not in shape to give his best.

He always had a bottomless pit of ability, but I'm afraid he reminds me very much of Judah when it comes to attitude and commitment.Even a late surge at this stage will never fulfill the phenomenal talent this guy has pissed away.

    :good

I'd argue he had more talent than Judah, and even less dedication.
Guzman was special, you could tell by watching him and you still see flashes of brilliance now.

Can't even call him an enigma, because when he fights he wins. He's just a waste of extrodinary ability. I'd like to see Guzman - Matysse at 140.
