    IMO...

He gets by with SD/Uds against halfway good competition. Fighters who had sh*tty losing records are mostly the ones he scored (T)KO's...

Talk is cheap .. but saying you want to fight Pac and calling him out isn't!

I don't think he would beat Pacquiao, Marquez, or Barrera, but I think he beats Soto and Valero. Make no mistake, he is one of the best at 130. A match with Jorge Linares would be interesting.

He is not a KO kinda fighter. So this isn't really relevant.

Not KOing people doesn't make you overrated.

Do you guys realise that we haven't seen the best of Guzman yet? He clowns and toys with opponents far too much, fights their fight even at times when he ought to be wiping them out.

I think he'd take a fight with Pac or JMM more seriously. But I'd pick Pac over him this point, I think Joan would defeat JMM though.

    If anything, he's underrated.

Exactly and he stupidly fought Barrios' fight in the process. 8-4 Guzman would have been an adequate score.

Describing his win over Barrios in the context shows a total lack of objectivity. That win can best be described as a schooling.

Guzman reminds me a bit of a mini-James Toney with less tentativeness.

Well Arce is an extreme-counter example .. Didn't he admit that his latest whopping was justified b/c of his pre-fight trash talk... LOL what a jerk!

Whereas, JG a mild mannered fighter was making a candid call out, which holds a lot weigth IMO.

He reminds me of Ricky admitting he wasn't ready for Mayweather after his American premiere.

last time i checked, you can with both by stoppage or points. a win is a win. therfore, guzman is not overrated due to the arguements that you gave.

i don't think anyone claims that guzman has one punch ko power in both hands, so no, he is not overrated. your way of thining is flawed
