wrong. The style matchup is not the be all and end all. Maybe it is in your point of view, but in reality there is alot more than the style matchup that comes into play during fights. There is the ability of each fighter as well. In that respect the Barrera fight definately does matter when talking about any matchup involving Pac, as it is a measure of his overall ability. I'm glad you're not gonna bring up that fight, because bringing up a 6 round fight that ended in a draw after a cut caused by a headbutt would be pretty pointless. now you got me You could say the same thing about Guzman's fights against Barrios and Soto but you'd come off as an idiot because he didn't win every round and then stop them, which is what JMM did against Jandaeng. Actually Guzman didn't even come close. So in your unbiased opinion, it should have been a wide decision. Too bad, it wasn't. It was a close, hard fought decision. And by the way, against Soto, Guzman had a 13lb weight advantage on fight night. He still wasn't able to impose his will and strength. against Pac, this kind of attitude would be suicidal. You assume he chooses not to, I believe that he can't. Not enough mental fortitude and stamina. anyways i'm off for a few days.
He is without question an excellent fighter. But he needs to face the best guys in his division, and he is not getting any younger. He may be 1 level higher than some of the elite guys in 130 & 135, but unless he faces them inside the ring and beat them decisively all we can do is assume. Pac, JMM, J. Diaz, Nate, Casa, Gamboa, Valero will definitely have problems beating this guy. At the end of the day, if he fought all these guys I am sure as hell that his 0 will have to go, there is no way he beats all of them!!!
he is a very good boxer. very slick and fast. he could give pac some trouble just because he would more likely be on his bicycle when the fight happens. but pac is fast too and would give guzman a very hard fight. i would slightly favor pac because of his power and his proven record against elite opponents. he is slightly overrated here in esb maybe because of his hype as being a supernatural.
Guzman is underrated if anything. He can go the full 12 rounds and has good defence and boxign ability. He has hand problems though, but I definetly see him beating Pac and Pac is my favorite fighter right now.
ROFL - you know this actually got me thinking here when PacDBest scored the soto-guzman fight a draw. :rofl:rofl:rofl. A DRAW!!:rofl:rofl:rofl thank you for reminding me about that fight. PacDbest u crazy man.
That right there shows you didn't see the fight and don't know what your talking about. Your a moron go suck some pinoy ****.

He has a good chance against Pac to win a UD, but will be hard pressed versus Diaz. I think people are overrating him against Pac, as it seems they are so sure he will clobbered the one-dimensional dynamo in a one-sided affair, and throwing away all the other factors in the fight in a hurry.
