guzman would give all these better fights than most the fighters that they are planning on fighting.

guzman is a better fighter than abregu who bradley is going to fight, he is a more complete and dangerous fighter than kotelnik who alexander is fighting. khan and maidana havn't got an oponent, with this coming out and the fact that guzman doesn't like training for long periods he could be fighting maidana at the end of august but it is unlikely as the fight is in argentina. khan vs guzman won't happen because it would be a hard fight to sell and his haters would say that he is fighting another small fighter.

Guzman doesn't deserve to even speak thesae guys names. I understand he would give them a good fight but after his past antics, he needs to prove himself first. I stopped rooting for him and lost all respect.

Guzman has the talent to be competitive and to beat all of them but the question is does he has the desire and dedication to do it.

mods, please sticky this thread. Guzman should always have a thread on the first page.

It'll be interesting to see if anyone has the balls to accept the Guzman challenge. Alexander and Bradley will get a pass if they end up fighting each other in January.

How about Ortiz? He's being rumored to fight Vivian Harris on the 9/18 card  That's a sad matchup. That card reallly needs some beefing up, so how about Guzman-Ortiz?

Of course, Guzman is a more attracive opponent for Pacquiao, should the Mayweather fight fall through, than either Cotto or Margarito. Pac can't lose either of those fights. Guzman, on the other hand, presents a unique style and skillset that, frankly, Pacquiao has clearly avoided for many years. Pacquiao could really silence his critics by making this fight. Hell they can put it in the Phillippines, who cares? Guzman has gloves, will travel.

This guy is a extraordinary talent and the lack of respect he's received over the years saddens me. He's made a couple of mistakes in overestimating just what his body is capable of, but he's not a bad guy.

He'd defeat Khan, Ortiz, Maidana, Bradley without question. Alexander fight would be a toss up. Hopefully, one of these guys, just one for now, steps up and shows they've got the intestinal fortitude to face a ringmaster like Joan.

The lack of respect he's received is deserved. After all the time in preperation Campbell invested in for a fight everyone was anticipating, for it just to get canned because of Guzmans unprofessionalism. Then again he cale in so rediculously overweight against Funeka, how the hell was that even fair? Of coarse Funeka was going to go through with the fight, he's a fighter.

Guzman needs to prove himself worthy before getting a fight with a top name, as of now he's scum.

scum? If he's scum, what's Nate Campbell for coming in overweight against Funeka. What's Funeka for doping prior to the Guzman fight?

guzman who? Is he still fighting?

2 fights in the last 5 years probably and failing to maintain weight on those fights is tantamount to retirement.

Plus he is so so so so so feather fisted that that last knockdown he had was at 122.
