Good. He shouldn't be fighting at 140, let alone above it.

Well its too bad you feel this way because Guzman has been planning to move up to 140 for a while now.

not true. First of all, Urango hasnt even vacated the title in the first place. Second of all, if Urango ultimately does vacate, the IBF would then order the top 2 ranked available contenders to fight for the vacant title. Currently, Baliley is #1, #2 is vacant, and #3 is Nate Campbell. Judah is ranked #7. There is no way that Judah could skip everyone in between and fight for the vacant title. If Bailey signs for the Judah fight (July 18th), and then if Urango did vacate after his May 30th fight with Berto, then the IBF would order #3 Campbell vs. #4 Kendall Holt for the vacant title, because Bailey would be unavailable due to being tied up with the Judah fight.

why fight a natural welterweight at 142lb when you dont have the power the knock a 135 pounder and zab aint shot as many people think he gave every one hell for the first 6 round that when he start to feel the power from the heavy hitter but guzman is not a heavy hitter so his management did the right thing.

You know how people say Zab Judah has the talent to be an ATG but doenst have the mental capacity to fulfill it?

Its the same thing with Joan Guzman only he doesnt have the heart to fulfill it.

Guzman's biggest names are Agapito Sanchez †, Barrios, Javier Jauregui and Humberto Soto. Why do some people around here act as if this guy deserves to land a big-money fight, let alone a name guy? Let him fight Edwin Valero for all the marbles...of overrated overhyped fighters.

Guzman should just retire before he backs out again from another good fight.
