Yes and all have been chinny fighters who had to be worn down.:good

Barrios is not a puncher now? Not much of a test?

To the best of my knowledge Barrios is pretty much a heavily avoided danger, he's only lost 2 fights at the noted level and one was competitive against a prime Freitas and the other was competitive against Guzman.

I feel that Barrios would be all that Soto could handle also. It's ridiculous that you consider Barrios to be not much of a test when he's superior to the best guy that Soto defeated(Rocky Jaurez).:yep

then he has no chance whatsoever. Soto has been the sleeper in the division. November 18 he will wake up and be the biggest threat to anyone in there. I want a fight with Pac to happen so bad.

If he wants to, Guzman can beat any version of Soto that shows up on the night. But will he want to? Or will he just try to prove how macho and tough he is...that he is the alpha male in there...?

Barrios is a sloppy puncher, Soto would have beaten him as well, maybe even stopped him. Fretias went life and death with him because he always tried to hard to KO fighters. Barrios has a good chin, but still wilted after knocking Fretias down a few times in the process (if you want to talk about a chinny fighter, Acelino Fretias fits that to a T.)

Agreed. Barrios is sloppy as hell and a guy like Soto would have Knocked his ass out!! I have never considered Barrios elite. Just too sloppy for my taste.

Barrios is not superior to Rocky Juarez. Rocky Juarez is a big test for anyone. He has never even been knocked down and in my opinion had a very controversial fight with Barrera the first time around. Almost knocked him down.

If he fights in a Mayweather-esque style and gets on his bike and pot shots for 12 rounds to win a boring decision.

Box Beautifully. He has very good speed obviously. He would have to move around the ring very well almost as if he is avoiding Soto. Throw some punches get out very quick. and try to do it for 36 minutes. If Soto trades with him over and over then he is done. Like you said he has that Machismo which more than likely means trading untill he gets hurt. The one factor is also Floyd Mayweather. If anyone can teach him to beat Soto it is him. Soto is very hungry too right now so im sure he will be very well prepared for that too though.

If anyone DESPISES Mayweather's style in that division, it is Joan...

I don't think he will try to copy PBF, for some reason...;)

Get on his bike? Joan? You must be kidding!

The winner of this fight will earn recognition. The loser may be headed to the road to oblivion. Which means both fighters will be in a must win situation. This is a do or die match, I favor Soto to win this one.

guzman ud - faster hands, faster feet, better mover. beats sotto to the punch and will be in-out throwing flurries building a lead on the cards. only draw back for guzman is his defence is'nt the best, and relies to much on his quickness. soto could tag him and get him hurt. aside from that if his stamina is good he'll be moving from and cirlce soto all night.
