An early loss would be no big deal with a guy like this, because it would only come from a TOP ELITE. It's not like these other prospects losing to B levels and below, or Khan getting nearly taken out by a C-, feather fisted, undersized Willie Limond. Gamboa-Soto in July... who do you favour? Gamboa-Linares in July... who do you favour? There's two B+ level fighters. Then look at Paul Williams losing to straight B level Quintana badly. And then look back at Khan-Limond.:rofl Those are two examples of prospects that have too many flaws to be corrected for top level fighting, Ward and Dirrell are two others and I'm 50/50 on the Peterson's. But none are at the level to where only top elite P4P level fighters would be favoured over them at only 1 year and 2 months in the pro game, I'll tell you that.:deal This is why this guy is not a normal prospect, not even a great prospect, he's almost an assured victory for anybody that's hyping him to be the next P4P #1.:yep
Here's King Yuriorkis after being rewarded some Royal golden jewelry from his court of intellects - This content is protected
no offence but he looks stupid in that pic he is just a prospect and he already trying to look like mayweather lol
I like Gamboa...he likes to fight the best...I will have a good look at him when he fights an experienced B level pro.:happy :thumbsup
Judah looked very good, but not this good and he didn't fight guys as good as Gamboa fought at the same point in their professional careers. Though if you want a comparison because of Judah's nature, he's struggled with several C levels even after he got on the World circuit.
Guzman is my 3rd favourite active in the game right now. Gamboa cannot beat Guzman this year, no way in hell, it's not were dealing with 1 dimensional Pac who can be picked off, Gamboa would have to be the aggressor and deal with a guy who's nearly as fast, who has an unbreakable chin and body and who's slicker than oil. Pac would rush at Gamboa and Gamboa would have the chance to counter him from every angle and then push Pac back also, where he's most vulnerable. Thus why I say that he'd have a good shot at the very end of this year after he's fought and destroyed a B level or two.
Seems to be that all of the Cuban fighters are on spending crazes when entering Capitalistic countries, but this doesn't mean any of them are acting like Mayweather with embarassing personality and embarassing out of ring antics and the will to cherry pick for money alone. Cuban's have historically gone for the glory first.:good
Judah looked like a world beater untill he got sparked by Koysta. Infact if he had not gotten sparked, and had good mental strength he may have been great, in terms of Physical ability he is better than all of the crop of WW's. How do you know what Gamboa will be like mentally if he gets into a war and gets busted up or just gets sparked KO'd?
Because Cubans are selected at a very young age to be put into that boxing program and are trained more rigorously than any other amatuer level fighters in the world, they historically are strong willed and are warriors and take it as an insult when you fight scared and at a low level mentality. They're the Spartans of amatuer boxing. Had Zab grown up in a hard culture like that, he'd be of a different mentality. Anyways, back to the overhyping - How dare thee compare weak minded Zabdiel Judah to King Gamboa, leader of the revolution that will lead to a new boxing empire under Cubano fellowship. HOW DARE YOU.:rofl
There's only one downside of your brilliant overhyping job - you run with it and defend your protegees to the hilt even when cracks start to appear and even against styles that have their number...(you know precisely what furry character I have in mind!):nono
