If this match happens it would really show if Guzman was all hype or not, if he can't get a win over a still dangerous Casamayor who's career is showing to slow down a bit.

CASAMAYOR POR FAVOR RETIRATE, ya tu tiempo ha pasado...

Casamayor's last fight was at 147lbs!!! He is old, fat and sloooowwww!!!

This happens to all fighters, they don't know when to quit...

Either way if this fight happens, I am not interested in watching it, if prime Casamayor fights Guzman then El Cepillo takes him to Cuban boxing school, no doubt...

Am I the only one who thinks this would be a good fight? Much better than JCC Jr. or something.

Dan Rafael said Khan and Maidana worked something out so that both of them could take on a fight before they fight each other.

Both fighters are far past their primes and carry zero power at this weight. There's absolutely no doubt that this is going to be a dreadful, dreadful fight.

I'm thinkin' he'll fight up to his competition at this point. Guzman's kinda' flashy and a little younger and maybe Casa will be a bit of an underdog, so he'll be motivated.

Might be turn out to be sad or it might be fun.

Like the earlier poster said, I'd rather see this matchup than JCC jr vs another no hoper...

Bad fight. Name recognition only, and not a good style matchup. Fans will boo relentlessly. I like these guys and am glad they're getting a decent payday, though.

I suggest you not talk about things that completely unknown ... I say this because if there was ever any boxer able to humiliate the Cuban school of boxing, that was Joan Guzman. I say that when the Cubans were a force in boxing, which right now are not. I suggest you investigate what Guzman did to two world champions Cuba between 1996 and 1997. Even the trainers of Cuban selection, not have idea about how plain a figth agains Guzman...That was spoken by the mouth of one of their head coaches

I agree with what many, Guzman was a total waste of talent in boxing, for various reasons, some because of it and some do not ... could never reach its maximum. Now, he was late to her own body. , Instead, for this fight I think he still has to give a good show agains another that is in decline as Mr. Casamayor. That which would win?, Well, for me can be anyone, because now none of them are the boxer than we met.

Guzman better show more than he showed in his last outing or he's gonna get schooled. He looked absolutely terrible.

Casa is way past his prime...Guzman is not the same but still could be too much for Casa to handle..

Weak co-feature, imo. GB would be sound in investing in JMM-Khan as the co-feature to Mayweather-Mosley. Unlikely tho'.
