For one, if JMM loses then where would he go from there? He might find that a Diaz rematch would be one of the better options available. And for two, I said many times that the cut sustained by Diaz completely changed the fight. Diaz was not able to see the punches coming after sustaining the cut which resulted in his ko. I'm not stating the he would have won had the bleeding not been such a factor but the fight would have continued on perhaps for the full 12 rounds.

BTW the fight was a war who wouldn't want to see that again.

Good fights, now this is a pay per view card instead of some BS that top rank together. As for the fight, i think Guzman boxes Diaz's ears off. Diaz has never come across such athletic talent and hand speed throughout his career, plus hes coming off a knockout loss as well. Guzman should be favored.

You must be one of Guzman's 7 fans. How's that title shot going? lol

    dip****.

Note to other board members: The "title shot" thing is a running joke with me and Nate because immediately after Nate missed weight in the Funeka fight, Guzman's manager texted me laughing it up and talking all kinds of smack about how they were getting either a WBA or IBF title fight within 60 days thanks to Nate missing weight, and how maybe Nate could fight on Guzman's undercards, and blah, blah, blah, and of course none of it happened because they were too stupid to even check his fightfax and clear up his suspension.

Additional note to other boardmembers: Bradley-Campbell discussions are back on again.

    Boxing Economics 101:

There won't be enough money left over for the undercard of Mayweather-JMM to make a fight like Campbell-Judah. So why discuss fights that have ZERO chance of getting made? Unlike your man-crush Guzman, Nate is not in a position where he has to take short money.

And arguing with you is like tripping a ******ed kid. It's funny for a minute, but theres no real point to it.

if juan loses he's still "the man" at 135 with options to scrap at 140.

now my wishfull thinking would be a mega fight with ricky hatton in england.... :hey tell me that wouldnt be crazy.

personally, diaz-marquez is finished business. i'd rather see him whoop amirs ass or ending that hype job valero.

This is WAYYY too easy. Lets take this one by one.....

"i guess his manager is right because he because he is #1 in the WBA"
No, actually he is #2, and a fight with Paulus Moses wouldnt make 50 cents.

"and is in position to fight anthony peterson for the number one in the WBC"
Urbano Antillon is already #1 in the WBC, followed by Peterson, Escobedo, DeMarco, and THEN Guzman at #5. So how is it that he is in position to fight Peterson for a spot already held by Antillon?

"can you tell me why nate is rank #5 in wbc, ibf, wba and #7in the WBO "
Easy. He isn't. He is WBC #4, IBF #3, WBO #3, and WBA #6.

"WBO paco didnt even wanted rank the bum"
Hmm, thats strange. Then why did Nate move from #7 up to #3 in the new WBO rankings, while Guzman DROPPED from #5 to #11 ? Seems a bit strange dont you think?

Save your energy. I've had my fun, but I'm done with this thread....

    :pwned

look here dip****, you are obviously looking at the rankings page on Fight News dot Com, instead of looking at the most recent rankings at each sanctioning bodies own website. The Fight News rankings are not updated that frequently. They still list Kendall Holt as the WBO champ. I guess that means he didnt lose to Bradley a month and a half ago, right? ****ing Noob.

    Heres the newest rankings......

    IBF 140 - Nate is #3
    IBF 135 - Guz is #5

    WBO 140 - Nate is #3
    WBO 135 - Guz is #11

    WBC 140 - Nate is #4
    WBC 135 - Guz is #5

    WBA 140 - Nate is #6
    WBA 135 - Guz is #2

    anymore questions noob?

I really hope Campbell-Bradley comes off. Could be a good fight for both of them, as long as both of them have reasonable financial expectations and realize that neither one is as big of a name as someone with his resume should be.
