    are you serious?

cotto is normally the aggressor stalking his opponents down ripping them with body shots. he couldnt do that to margo b/c of the size difference therefore he had to adjust. he did what he could landing 2-3 punch combos and moving but margos pressure caught up to him. how can u say u didnt see cotto throw one punch unless your talking about the last round where he was stopped? :patsch

imo, cotto was winning the fight prior to being stopped. not many can beat cotto "cotto style" but margo had his number that nite and would probably do it again.

is cotto known as a runner? -NO. 90% + of his previous fights he was always coming forward. and 90% + of guzmans fights his always sticking & moving back-pedaling like he's on one of those trick-tricycles from the domican republic :yep. dont get me wrong, guzruns slick style is effective but with NO POP WHAT-SO-EVER, NOBODY WILL RESPECT THE GUY @ 135. he will be stalked down and you will be reminded why people call him guzrun.

I'm not impressed with Guzman. If he would have made weight against Campbell, we wouldn't be having this conversation because Campbell would have beat him.

The name of the game is to hit & not get hit. But since you're still not answering my question, let me break it sown to you:

From 2:33 thru 2:38, what do you call Miguel Cotto's actions in boxing terminology? [yt]tJbQXBKggnU[/yt]

He was pretty much out on his legs and moved backwards in the heat of the moment until finally realising he was ****ed, in which case he took a knee before getting sparked and his corner did the right thing in stopping the fight. Whats your point? Cotto went toe to toe with the dangerous bigger fighter a ton of times in the fight. He would have been better off "running", which is the reason why a guy like Floyd would have a very good chance at decisioning Margo.

Cotto is clearly not a runner, even against Margo, when he probably should have fought that way he still didn't.

I'll repeat the question again, from 2:33 til 2:38, what do you call Cotto's actions in boxing terminology?

and like i said your referring to the last round where margos presurre clearly caught up to miguel. if you post a poll and ask ESB is cotto known as a runner the answer will be NO. now we cant say that for you boy guzrun, now can we ? :hey

i mean, do we really need a youtube clip battle of miguels previous fights to prove that isnt known as a runner? does it not make sense to you that adjustments needed to be made from start to finish in order for cotto to beat margo?

 if "2:33 thru 2:38" is the best you got its over for you. and dont try and post another youtube clip of cotto back pedaling against mosley in the later rounds b/c he was clearly winning the fight (coming forward) and was still outboxing him.

    :rofl :rofl :rofl
All I asked you guys was one question & no one will be honest!:rofl

I got more respect for Cotto & I know Cotto isn't a runner, but I gotta admit that those 5 seconds was a perfect example of RUNNING! Only adjustment that needed to be made during those 5 seconds, Cotto neede a mountain bike!:rofl :rofl :rofl

Running isn't boxing terminology, its hater terminology, i would call it ring movement - of a guy who is nearly out on his feet.

Guzrun is constantly back pedaling from start to finish no matter who he fights. -thats his style.

cotto runs in the last round where he's clearly hurt isnt the same thing :patsch

Theres a big difference between an aggressive fighter backing up in the face of an imminent starching and a fighter who relies on foot speed and movement, either way i wouldn't Guzman a runner, its a stupid term.

    :yep true.

we'd be better off browsing the comments to justify "how" and "why" each would have certain advantage/disadvantage for the outcome of the fight..

yep. its more common sense and factual that jmm would be the clear winner :D

btw, did you break it down yet ?

*edit* i mean, i havent seen too many rebutals about how guzman can win.
