Marquez already won... Guzman didn't show up.

JMM by TKO or schooling. #1 Joan Guzman is a crafty/Slick counter puncher. He has solid skills but he's not GREAT in any area of his game. Defensively he's good, offensively he good but he's not going to beat the TOP level guys like JMM or PAC....I doubt he'd beat MAB even at this stage. JMM is sharper, crisper and more accurate with his punches.....

JMM can press the action where Joan can only fight as a conter puncher....when JMM pushes the action and Joan finds out that Juan can not only counter punch effectively going forward but also backwards he won't know what to do....I see a KO for JMM if this fight happens.

Actually Joan isn't as fast as many think....he's about as fast as JMM.

But who is Barrios? I mean...I know who he is but just b/c Barrios was tailor made for Joan and slower than molasses doesn't mean JMM is in the same category. Joan beats a style and B- class fighter all day. Stepping up to JMM is far beyond what his capabilities are as a prize fightrer.

Even if this were true....you contradict your stance on his issue. First you say that JMM hasn't faught any style like Joan, then you say that style will give him problems.

How do you know if you never seen JMM fight a style "like" Guzzy's? And to answer your question...Derrick Smoke Gainer had style like Joan Guzman's....not only that Derrick was a lot better than Joan and Jmm didn't have much difficulties getting the decision.

A shot to bits Casa gave Marquez problems, I think Guzman being quicker and slicker would edge him in a close fight.

Lord, this would be an incredibly boring fight, with both guys backing off and waiting for the other one to attack. Whichever one takes more initiative to go on the offensive wins the fight, and I have no idea which one that would be (more likely to be Marquez though). Both are way too content to sit in the pocket and counterpunch for this to be an exciting fight though.

JMM bases on far better competition and overall skills. Guzman ducked Nate the day of the fight.

He ddin't duck him. Even if Guzman wanted to fight, he couldn't have. Everyone in his camp said Guzman was so drained he could barely even walk. Guzman was so drained, I could've KO'd Guzman that night!

None of it matters anyways. After Guzrun pulled that stunt with Nate, no network is going to want to get anywhere near him for a long time, and no top contender has any reason whatsoever to fight him. No tv wants him, its probably an ugly fight, and he cant draw flies. He means nothing. He will just continue to do what he is doing on Dec 20, thats fighting off tv on club shows in the Dominican Republic. Meanwhile, Nate is on HBO Feb 14.
